Utilizing nearly 100% American tobacco, Camacho Barrel Aged boasts a bold, oily Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper with American Broadleaf tobaccos also making appearances in the binder and filler tobaccos. The key to the blend comes in the form of a special Corojo filler leaf that’s aged for 6 years, only to be additionally stored in bourbon barrels to impart a truly unique flavor to an already stellar blend. I tried this on a suggestion from a friend. Draw was nice and smooth. Sweet and savory hints tasted throughout. Burned nice and evenly. Became a bit harsh in the last 1/4 of the cigar. Hands down my new favorite.

Great all around. Smooth and tasty. Not as much of a bourbon taste as in a bourbon infused cigar but that little hint is fantastic. I smoked one and shared one. It was my friends favorite cigar he has ever had. I intend to smoke the third with a bourbon and I look forward to that experience.

Cigars showed up and the box was is great condition but as I opened up the box that was holding the cigars i noticed one cigar was bent and all cigars were very dry. Received a $5 coupon on a $10 cigar. Paying $7.99 for shipping and it taking 5+ days to receive a 1lb package is very disheartening.

hard draw for Camacho Barrel aged

I recently purchased a 3 pack of American Barrel Aged Assortment and found them to be a hard draw. I needed to stick a pin in them to be able to enjoy them. they do tend to be a mild nice tasting cigar but the one I smoked was a hard draw. I'm sure the rest of them will be better than the first one.

Great cigar but had no bourbon flavor. LOVE bourbon and went after this specifically for the bourbon flavor. If you are looking for a great, full bodied cigar this is for you but if you are looking specifically for the bourbon flavor look for something else..

I've enjoyed several of Camacho's offerings, so I decided to give their new American Barrel Aged a try. It's a beautifully made cigar with lots of creamy smoke. Drew and burned well. My palate isn't sophisticated enough to tease all the subtle nuances from a smoke (I either like it or I don't), but you could definitely taste underlying notes of bourbon. Simply put... a delicious cigar that I will keep on hand.

Man oh man!...This Camacho is by far, the best cigar in the Camacho arsenal. It has all the right stuff for a perfect cigar. It is very pricey though. Hopefully I can catch it on sell. It's an excellent cigar. Truly great cigar.
