Heavy in the hand, CAO Flathead starts with a well-fermented Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper. Thick and chewy, the leaf conceals a bevy of Nicaraguan and Dominican long-fillers embraced by a Connecticut Habano-seed binder. Then, each cigar is carefully box-pressed. Flathead? Interesting name, excellent cigar. I used to know a guy in the old neighborhood we used to call Flathead. Doubt if this cigar is named after him. Anyway, these Flathead have an excellent burn line and a good draw. More on the stronger profile. Fine with me. Mellow to strong I like ‘em’ all.

Great, strong cigar. Well constructed ,though I really do not like box pressed. The blend is great, the draw is great. Lasts over an hour and holds the ash beautifully. A nice, big, fat stogie that is sure to satisfy.

Pretty sure I may have reviewed this cigar already, but felt inclined to write another. Guys, I'm telling you, this has quickly become my favorite smoke. If I have any less than five in my stash, I start to panic. EVERYTHING about this cigar is perfect. There is not a single gripe. The clouds, the flavor, the consistent burn throughout, and the way it feels in my fingers. My mouth waters on any day that I know I'm smoking one. I would recommend this cigar to anyone. Even beginners. Like I said, it's perfect.

I tried this cigar over a year ago and was blown far and away at how good this piece of meat really is! What an awesome smoke! No. 1 - the taste and aroma is mesmerizing! No.2 - The burn is automatic, excellent ash and N E V E R goes out!. No. 3 - Taste is something any good cigar is noted for and this one is like walking into a leather shop right next door to Starbucks which is right next door to a fine brisket BBQ joint, right next door to an herbal garden store - all rolled into one fine smoke!! And don't even think about rushing through this one - it's a sit down and learn from the classroom type smoke - Daddy's rules! N0. 4 - Try it out yourself, prove to me it's not a knock-out-of-the park premium!
