Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sun Grown

A small step for cigars, a giant leap for your palate.

Sometimes innovation is nothing more than trickery or gimmicks, and other times a new product or idea is truly innovative and evolutionary…case in point, the new cigar line from Nick Perdomo. Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged cigars is a step forward and successfully blends 2 of America’s great loves, bourbon and cigars.

Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sungrown features a wrapper that has been double aged, first for at least 6 years before being put to sleep for an additional 10 months in bourbon barrels. The blend is finished off with a mix of long-fillers from Jalapa, Condega, and Esteli, Nicaragua resulting in a full-bodied blend with flavors of spice and earth with background nuances from the bourbon barrel. Try these for yourself and take an adventure into the next frontier in the cigar industry.

Awful
Dunno if I got a bad batch or what, bought a 5 pack. 1st one i smoked after being delivered pretty much fell apart in my hands. Was extremely dry and peeled apart. Other 4 put in the humidor for 2 weeks, I have the boveda 69% packs in there and holds humidity perfect. After 2 weeks past the remaining 4 around at a party. All of them had the same problem, extremely dry and pretty fell apart. Very unhappy. I'm a big Perdomo fan but not pleased with these. Waste of money

Great smoke
Great everyday cigar.

Wow.
This is currently my favorite stick. I usually don't like more mild sticks like this, but Perdomo delivers a creamy, perfectly- wrapped cigar with this one. Insanely smooth with no unwanted bite at all.

Best Cigar yet.
This was the last cigar left from the sampler I was given at Xmas. Fantastic smoke. Wrapper was like fine leather. Lasted me over 2 hours and the flavor and draw was consistent and smooth right to the nub. Never tried a habano before but will definitely be buying a box of these beauties. Must thank the folks who bought me the sampler. 5 stars all the way.

One of Perdomo’s Best
This cigar is becoming my favorite smoke of Perdomo’s wonderful collection. I still say when anyone asks me the best smoke for the dollar; I always say Perdomos are. The Bourbon Barrel-aged Sun Growns are in my opinion are his best offering to date. A very nice spice aroma when you slide it by your nose; firm but not tight packing and is a perfect match for my V cutter. After toasting and light up, I pick up a wonderful mix of nuts, coffee, spices and honey at the finish with a touch of wood and leather but, not overpowering. Just a wonderful cigar to celebrate yourself for being human. The Bourbon barrel brings a touch of class to this Perdomo design. Those of you who smoke Perdomos, know what Im talking about. Perdomo will always be in my humidors; with Lot 23 always having a place in my heart. Now, The Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sun Grown's will own a nice spot in one of them. Get a five pack, a friend or two and a nice bottle of Rye and salute each other.

Lively and enjoyable
This Perdomo took me a bit by surprise in that they blend is really quite lively and easy to enjoy. Peppery, creamy, and fruity notes that are easy to identify. Construction good too. I like this Perdomo more than any others I've smoked. Great value at this price IMO. Its a great go-to for your humidor.

Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged
I truly enjoyed the flavors and the smoke was great! I liked it more than the Camacho bourbon barrel aged, which are one of my favorites.

Good!
The Bourbons are tasty and slow-burning; enjoyed the smoke. A little tough to get a good burn, but definitely recommended!

Shocked and AWESOME!!
I initially purchased these as enablement cigars for friends when they stop by to visit. After smoking the first one I couldn’t believe how well it smoked with no overdone flavor like you see with some makers. I am very happy with these, and will smoke the rest myself. Well Done Perdomo!!

Had this cigar at Cigarfest. Loved it. Bought more. Loved it. I don't care for flavoured cigars but this is awesome. Nick has done it again!

Best cigar I've smoked in a while!
I am really enjoying this cigar!!! The band has excellent gold coloration that is just eye catching...a very nice design as well. Nicely constructed oily wrapper that has a pleasant pre-light aroma (I can smell the bourbon barrel it was aged in). Nice pre-light aroma from the foot as well. Excellent draw and easy to light. Burns evenly with a white ash. I'm tasting leather, almond, walnut, spice and earthy notes. This is a complex medium bodied cigar. The flavors really come alive when I cycle the smoke through my nasal cavity. A very nice finish that does not destroy my palate. I will definately buy more of these for my humidor.

One of my faves

Good Stogie
Very enjoyable smoke....the Perdomo quality is very apparent while the 'barrel-aged' aspect of its personality is subtle in its presentation yet very pleasant in its affect. I recommend keeping a few on hand for something a little different. Enjoy!

Perdomo Barrel-Aged
I bought a 5 pack of these to try it out since I had heard so much about barrel-aged cigars. I thought the cigar was well made and had a unique fragrance but the flavor just wasn't there for me. It was a more subtle flavor that for me wasn't worth the extra cost. I would like to try other barrel-aged cigars to see if there is any difference.
