El Diablo Humidor

This is a beautiful Humidor! Bought this for my Husband - HE LOVES IT! It’s a beautiful piece and functional. Ordered the extra Black Ice by Humicare (8 oz) brought the humidity up to 72 right away! Ladies-do it for your guy!

Arrived next day! Shipping 8ndicated it was a 4 to 8 day deal as oversized. Nope. Beat Amazon prime! Seasoned up easy. Crazy weird, cool humidifiers included, Hygrometer sucks, but whatever. Who does analog these days... Put in puros 48 hrs after receiving El Diablo and 69 - 70% is holding fast. Definite whoosh when lid is dropped. Excellent investment. Don't hesitate. Fit, finish and construction is glorious.

Wow, just WOW. So shipping was super fast, even though the only shipping option was oversized 4-8 day delivery, it arrived next day! CI beat Amazon prime, as I ordered some accessories from Amazon and, they won't get here for 2 more days. Construction, fit and finish is superior. The humidor itself is beautiful both inside and out. Cedar lining is pretty quality (by looks). Seasoning is going on now, and an interior wipe with distilled water and some glass containers with dw has brought humidity to 82% in 8 hrs. and holding. Review will be updated once puros go in and we see how well everything settles in, but off the block it's awesome. The humidifiers supplied are actually gel bead type (that I was initially skeptical of), but they swelled up plump as berries, and are showing 70% in a sealed baggie with a calibrated hygrometer. Heck I may just be returning the Boveda 320 gm set and mount from Amazon ( once it arrives), this may just work fine! Hygrometer supplied (analog) is spot on calibrated used a 72% boveda pack in sealed baggie, right out of the box. How about that! Lid seal has a pronounced WHOOSH, as it is closes. Initially this is a outstanding investment. Well done Cigars International ! More to come after the cigars go in and we see how it all will shake out.

Beautiful box with a finish that can fit in any formal room of the house. Great quality with good seal and room to store your cutters and lighters. I generally smoke a 6/60 cigar and this humidor will easily hold over 100 sticks. Just purchased my second El Diablo Humidor.

Beautiful box. Bought the upgrade with the humi starter kit. Real easy to use. Just the little box you fill the humicare juice to help season was broken and leaked in the box overnight. Had to do my best to dry the wet spot on the bottom. Can't wait till it's done so I can transfer all my sticks to the new box. Box looks great. Was prepared with some of the little "irritatations" people had, loose drawers. Small chips in the corners. Easy things to look over. Still a beautiful box and very happy with my purchase.... and hoping the broken humicare tray doesn't affect the process at all.

Lots of room! Love it

Excellent build. So far it is doing well. I would suggest that the magnetic plats for the provided large humidor blocks be reinforced because the adhesive dose not work well on the wood. Had to glue them.

A beautiful and well-made humidor that was a great upgrade from my smaller unit.

This replaced one that was purchased here 16 years ago and was broken during a house move. It's the same construction with the sure seal. The only difference is the new one doesn't have the same guides on the bottom two pull out drawers, they are sloppy from side to side but pushing them together when closed from the outside edges straightens them out. Tip: use a hot glue gun to glue the magnets for the humidity bars. There is no smell from hot glue, and the magnets have stayed put for the last 16 years. A big thanks for Customer Service, during the move, I lost my CI Bucks cards and they were able to honor them toward this purchase. C. I. Rocks!!!

Overall nice, but lower drawers should have alignment guides. There are a couple of slight finish blemishes.

The box is beautiful with tons of space. I was surprised by the quality control... joints matched up perfect and recessed hinges for exact. My only knock is the double sided tape used for humidifier and hygrometer didn't last 5 min. Tried gorilla glue with no luck and now debating scraping off glue again to try something else.... so for now they all lay inside the box which hurts the overall look.

Holds humidity well when locked. Capacity is really around 150 instead of 300. Looks beautiful.

Great Humidor no complaints

Have been using this humidor for a little over a year now and it has been fantastic. Has help humidity very well but do recommend upgrading to some of the gel jars instead of the humidifiers it comes with if you are going to trying to push the capacity above about 75 cigars. Also full capacity if I was guessing is probably about 200 cigars give or take a little instead of the 300 listed but still will hold a ton and is way bigger than anyother humidor I have owned would buy it again for sure.

Have had this humidor for almost a year now and has been excellent. Don't think that I could get 300 cigars in it but have had close to 175 in there and been able to maintain humidity while still having room for a few more. So if your looking to upgrade to a larger humidor would recommend this one for sure.

Bought one last year and just love it. The seal is tight and humidity is spot on. I bought another one this year. The finish is beautiful and is only outdone by the functionality of the humidor itself. You can't beat the price and with Cigars International backing the products they sell how can you go wrong. Go ahead and pull the trigger. You'll be glad you did.

Purchased for my husband and he loves it

Not the absolute best thing out there but it does a good job and gives you the best bang for your buck. Great seal but the only problem is the drawers scratch the wood at the bottom after so much use.

Great humidor. Replaced the double sided tape on the humidifiers so they would stop falling off the lid and purchased a digital hydrometer. Now to fill it up.

Absolutely Gorgeous,Fantastic. The El Diablo Humidor is the best bang for your buck. I simply love it. This is the coffin for my cigars because after having many humidors this is my cigars final resting place.

The El Diablo humidor arrived in good shape. There are a couple of minor imperfections in the finish, a colored furniture touch up pen made them almost invisible. I seasoned it by lightly wiping the inside with distilled water, then added a small container in the bottom of the unit with distilled water. After three days, the humidity was holding steady at 70%, so I removed the container of distilled water and charged the foam humidifiers with Cigar Juice, sold here. I loaded the humidor with cigars and checked the humidity both top and bottom twice a day for three days, and am very pleased that this unit holds the humidity very well. Better than my other two smaller units. I used one of the humidifiers in the lid, put the other in the bottom separated by the cedar divider on the side. Works well, the top and bottom are maintaining 70%. I believe that using both of them in the lid would over humidify the top drawer, and under humidify the bottom. As others have stated, the metal plates used to attach the magnetic backs of the humidifiers did not stick well. I used a few drops of Loctite brand super glue gel to fasten. It has no odor. The bottom two drawers are convenient for cutter and lighter storage. By the way, the top four draw knobs are for looks only. I checked the accuracy of the analog hygrometer that comes with the humidor with two other digitals that I have and found it to be accurate. There are those that recommend replacing the foam humidifiers with other types, as well as replacing the hygrometer with digital, but I disagree. Very pleased with the form and function and highly recommend. Great unit for not too much money.

I bought this humidor 5 years ago and it's been very stable after some TLC. Yes, the metal plates that the magnets on the humidifiers attach to fell off after the first month of use. I was able to fix the problem using a hot glue gun to avoid the fumes given off from regular glue. The bottom compartment is big, so a jar of Humi-Care Black Ice in the 4 bottom compartment corners keeps it good at 72 Percent. I like the 2 bottom pull out storage drawers to keep my lighters, cutters, and a stock of Bovedia packets for my travel Herf-A-Dor. Remember to season it for about a week and get a jar of Black Ice for the bottom and you are good to go!

I bought this on 2013. Never had a problem yet. Maintain very well money very well spent. I recomend this one for a buy. 🐸

I've had a cheap 100 count glass-top humidor, so this is my first quality humidor. I was a bit concerned about shipping packaging and can say that this humidor was shipped with about an inch or two of foam around it. So it arrived without any damage. Before I even properly seasoned it, the seal was super good. My Cigar Oasis Plus 3.0 fits in the bottom with just enough room to breath while standing upright. I can not say that 300 cigars will fit as I smoke different sizes, looks to be more like between 150 to 200 of the Gordo sizes with another 50 or so smaller sizes. Still big enough for me! I like the two small accessory drawers at the bottom for my cigar stuff as well. My digital adjustable hygrometer fits right where their cheap one is supposed to go. Will not be using their foam humidifiers and the only gripe is there are two wood trim pieces for them. The piano and quadrant hinge lid construction is spot on as is the high gloss finish. Highly recommended!

Service follow up was great. Called me a week after it was delivered found out the magnetic plates adhesive was bad and mailed me new ones. Seasoning nicely and seals great

Not worth the money. Bought if as a gift for a friend. I should have inspected it before giving it to him. The bottom fell off while taking out of the box. Poorly put together and the glued parts, like the bottom, don't hold. My friend took it in stride and says he now has a Summer project to put together the humidor I bought him. Felt bad about the gift.

After the haul at CigarFest I had no more room. Very nice humidor. Seasoned easily. Humidity steady. Great seal. Sticks are resting well.

I was looking for big size humidor box and I found this it fit 300 cigars and it’s vey cool finish design and the size very good I like it even is good to put ina living room as a decoration design ...

Item arrived in excellent condition and looks to be well made. Plenty of room for the cigars and seems to work well with humidifiers.

Great humidor. You can tell that it is well sealed when you open and close it. As others have mentioned, the humidifier plates that stick to the humidor do not stay and required gluing. The analog meter is also off, as expected of an analog hygrometer. I finally filled it up and have been enjoying great smokes since.

Overall pretty good quality. It had a few minor nicks in it that I can live with but would have not preferred to have them but not worth returning for them. I had the same issue as other where the humidifier boxes fell off. However, it’s an easy fix. I just used JB Weld to adhere the metal plates to the box.

Although the humidor looks great, the humidifiers will not stay glued to the top of the lid and the bottom of the humidor is loose on one end. Workmanship could be alot better but it is holding a good level of humidity.

Looks fantastic, however, there are few downsides...with its massive size, I’m have a bit of difficulty achieving and maintaining a 70%+ humidity. The two drawers are a great idea, but they’re free floating (no track and as such have a lot of play). I have this thing FULL and have less than 200 cigars in it, granted they are mostly Toro, Churchill, Torpedo and Perfecto size. In summation, this was a great buy for the price. A huge upgrade for me from my little 50 count humidor.

Excellent value! Plenty of storage for miscellaneous in the bottom two drawers. Season it for a week, before use. She'll be ready and will keep your sticks juiced like good bartender!

His is a great humidor for the price, but as with most humidors, I would recommend upgrading the hygrometer and humidifier.
