Nick Perdomo, one of the hardest working men in the cigar biz, seamlessly melds 2 of American’s favorite pastimes, the enjoyment of the good brown elixir and a premium handmade cigar, in his new Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged line.

Perdomo Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut uses an Ecuadoran Connecticut wrapper that was aged for at least six years prior to being aged in a bourbon barrel for an additional 6 months. The blend is completed with a mix of aged long-fillers from Condega, Jalapa, and Esteli Nicaragua delivering a mellow to medium-bodied profile. Expect a rich, creamy blend with the subtle influence of the bourbon barrel on the finish.

I got back into Cigar smoking about a year ago. My Daughter bought some sample packs for me. One of the sample packs contained 5 Perdomo cigars, One of them being the Perdomo Habano BBA Connecticut shade Epicures. I instantly fell in love. Very flavorful sticks that were expertly rolled. I eventually purchased a box of 24 from CI. I make sure to let my new purchases sit in Boveda 69% bags for at least 2 weeks before I move them to my Humidor and smoke them. As time has gone by, I have been experimenting with other brands, and other offerings from Perdomo, and I've been trying heavier/darker varieties. I find that some of the darker leaves are becoming more enjoyable to me, but I always have a supply of these BBA Shade Connecticuts on hand. They are my "GoTo" sticks. Full discosure: I did just order a box of Perdomo Habano BBA Connecticut Shade sticks. Lol

I have two left, very old and one of the best smooth smokes you'll ever find. In fact I treasured them so much, I saved two for a special occasion, but I'm down to only two.
