Camacho's new classic.
Camacho has managed to do something that no other cigar company can lay claim to...the recreation of Cuban conditions on non-Cuban soils. Impossible, some say, but that’s before they try a puff of these fine blends. Using a combination of authentic Cuban-seeds and the ideal location, the Jamastran Valley of Honduras, Camacho manages to harness the one thing that you didn’t even know you were missing. The magic ingredient, if you will. The tobacco holy grail.
That’s Camacho Corojo in a nutshell, an everyday treasure that was crafted with the true cigar aficionado in mind. Made with a super high-grade, fifth priming Corojo wrapper leaf, this fine specimen aims to please and succeeds with ease. Beneath the covers, an authentic Corojo binder and bevy of three primings of Corojo long-fillers complete the mix. Smooth, classic, well-aged, and well-constructed, Corojo is everything you need it to be....and more.Camacho Corojo received a well-deserved 90-rating noting: "A nicely crafted figurado with superb texture to the wrapper. It smokes beautifully. It has complex flavors including sweet wood, cedar, walnuts, and leather and steel. Medium to full bodied."
One of my favorite cigars. Full bodied, but certainly not too overpowering or unenjoyable. Has a flavor profile all its own. This cigar is a must-try.
By far my favorite smoke. I always keep my humi stocked with these. They do require more babysitting though. I find myself puffing every 30 seconds or so to keep it lit. If you're frugal like me, a good daily alternative to this stick would be the Gran Habano Corojo Vintage 2002 in my opinion, of course.
It was good, but not up to the hype, in my opinion. Would smoke one again, but wouldn't buy by the box.
Put a Habana band on this and 90% of cigar smokers would never know it's not the real deal. It's that close. Red orange leaf, leathery feel. Cubanesque would be an understatement. Strong yet balanced, great aroma. Great price, too!
This cigar was awesome. Good draw and tastes great.
This cigar is over the top. Blasts your palate from the first puff to the very last. Rich, flavorful, tasty, decadent, full-bodied, complex, over-the-top, satisfying.
Good flavor and aroma. Terrible construction. Spongy, poorly rolled, wouldn't stay lit. Very disappointing.
This cigar rocks! First puff hits you with a ton of flavors. I too am not crazy about the gaudy band. They should have stayed with the original band. This is definitely on my top five list. No other cigar has the flavors this baby releases. I can't get enough. Absolute love for me.
I love this cigar. Great flavor profile, consistent burn. Why did they change the band. Original was more classy.
What a great smoke. Not the overbearing butt kicker the description may imply. This is a sophisticated strong cigar that doesn't hit like a sledgehammer. Smooth all the way to the end. Nice burn and nice volume of smoke. A must have for any full flavor/strength fan!
Just scored a box of Churchill and on my second one today. Very nice. After taking off that loud red band, I feel like putting on my green fatigues and playing Fidel. Great cigar.
The Corojo Maduro is one of my favorite cigars reguarding the flavor and taste, but my only gripe is how the cigar is constructed. Burn is never even, always goes out while you are smoking it. Constantly relighting the cigar. If this can be fixed without messing up the flavor profile this would be top of my list.
I have long considered this blend to be my favorite smoke, regardless of cost. Corojo is very full bodied, complex & loaded with smooth, palate clinging flavors. Rather than try to express just what flavor you can expect from Corojo, let me just say that if you are a fan of full bodied/full flavored cigars, there is nothing about the blend, construction or burn you won't appreciate. Not recommended to the casual smoker or to those who swear by Dominican sticks, but highly recommended to everyone looking for a full bodied experience, that is never harsh or cloying.
Camacho corojo figurado is Medium bodied smoke. Flavors were of sweet tobacco, nutmeg, and hints of raisinette quality chocolate hear and there. A bit of spice here and there. Construction wise required some light ups. Overall decent smoke output with a medium finish. If youre looking for a classic cigar this is it. I rate a 90
