Good taste poor smoke
The cigar tastes great but out of 18 all but two had holes running through them. If you pinch them hard you can get them to smoke otherwise they burn up the center. If they were rolled well they would have been a good cigar. Difficult to stay lit. They were reasonably priced if you have a lot of matches to keep them lit.

Very tight draw with little smoke.

Great Cigar!
This was the first Sancho Panza I tried. I picked up ten of these for a very good price and they sat in the humidor for several months. I've had three or four of them now and I'm very pleased I made the purchase. They are well constructed, taste great, produce plenty of smoke, and burn evenly all the way down to the nub. I originally intended to have these to hand out to my buddies since they are relatively inexpensive, but that plan changed when I discovered how good they are. I'll be ordering more just as soon as I have more room in my humidors. Give these a try and you won't be disappointed.

Please don't smoke!
This is my first negative review ever and I have to say this is a terrible smoke. I know! Everyone has there preferences, but I have been smoking cigars for 20 years, managed a cigar bar for 8 years and have grown and made my own cigars from seed. The cigar wrapper looks like it was rushed with a cook process instead of proper fermentation and you can taste it right off. Construction is decent but a portion of the cigars I revived had large steams right in the center that did not help with pulling smoke through the cigar. The over all taste for me was chemical and harsh, it actually made my mouth and throat hurt. Sorry General but this one needs to be buried.

Excellent cigar!
Wonderful cigar. Don't let the price fool you - This baby is amazing and could easily sell for much, much more. I just wish I had more room in my humidors for these.

Highly recommended
I bought a build your own sampler. Choose a 5 pack as one of the 3 your allowed. I have to agree with the guy who has been smoking cigars for 35 years. I only had my cigars in the humidor less than a week. I smoked my Gordo Sanchez on my usual Saturday night ritual in my man cave an throw back some long neck corona beers. This cigar was awesome great taste, burn, construction. I don't know what happened with the bad reviews maybe they need to recalibrate their hydrometer or change solution. I can honestly say that almost every cigar I buy from CI is always as expected. Only exception would be Cuban sandwich or $1 cigars and even then you get what you pay for. As for these cigars I highly recommend it.

Great with coffee or brandy
Great flavour, big cigar, leather, coffee, and a semi-sweet taste from the Maduro wrapper. A few didn't draw as well, but for the price, this is still a bargain.

Love all the Sancho Panza cigars
I have always enjoyed all of the Sancho Panza cigars. So when I saw this new onion whole I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed. It was a great little cigar long on taste and a great value for the price .

Great cigar
I ordered 5 pack of Gordos in April and finally smoked one in November after 7 months in the humidor. Have been smoking cigars for 35+ years and do not understand the bad reviews on this cigar. Burn was razor sharp, plenty of smoke, great favours of coffee, leather lots of earth, spice and sweetness plus great aroma. Fabulous cigar @ any price point.

Got in a sampler. Disappointed. Extremely tight draw and very little smoke.

Don't trust your eyes.
My guess is that soon you will be giving these away- and not to your best customers. After the first good look, it all goes downhill. No smoke, hard to draw and not good flavor, especially the 2nd half.

Got it in a sampler and was expecting more from it. Uneven burn, had to work to get smoke and then burned hot, of course. Won't buy again.

Finally got around to trying one of the 5 pack I had sitting in my humidor for a couple of months. Very disappointed. It had a tough draw, terrible burn, and did not taste well. Also, not much smoke. Had to relight several times and ended up finishing it early because of an acrid taste. I will not buy again - Ricci

Not as good as the Double Maduro
Got a fiver of the Robustos as a freebie when I ordered my regular Double Maduro La Manchas (A fantastic corona!). I am glad I did not pay for 'em. I am working on my 3rd one as I write this. They almost seem that they are too humidified - not much smoke, relighting necessary several times through the cigar. I did notice the last third is better than the rest - if you can get there through the very hot draw that comes from trying to coax out sufficient smoke to enjoy. One of them so far has smoked well. I will let the last two sit for a bit and come back to them. Thinking of leaving one out of the humi as a test.

Stiffer draw, rich flavor
I have smoked this cigar in a larger size and loved it so I tried a box of the 4.5" rothchilds. The flavor was great with a rich earthiness. Draw and burn were good, just a little more than average effort to draw.

Terrible draw and burns unevenly
Worst smoking cigar I ever bought from CI. Burned unevenly and would go out repeatedly. Don't waste your money on this cigar. Very disappointing

Sancho Panza Triple Anejo Toro
Full bodied throughout the smoke. Well made. Good value.

New SP Triple Anejo
This cigar has a broad palate, from creamy to spicy (notes of cedar & nutmeg plus latte). Very well constructed. Drawback? Several from a box of 18 didn't draw well. If they can roll them a little less tight, I'm all in!

Extremely disappointed!! Smoked two of the five and as nother reviewer said...horrible burn, tight draw, almost no smoke out of it. Had to puff two and three times to get smoke. I had to relight several times. At some point it funneled and wouldn't relight not even half way through the stick. The rest will probably wind up in the garbage!!

Sanche panzer hasn't put a new cigar out in years. So happy with this one. Big fan of the original and this one is a home run!

Get any other Sancho Panza but this blend
I smoke several cigars a day and I always start with a Sancho Panza. In general, SP is a 'never disappoint' cigar: construction, price, draw, taste, smoke. Their Triple Anejo fails on all counts. I couldn't get much smoke out of it. What I did get was sharp and acerbic with a burning spice taste, which is the single note of this cigar. Full bodied, that is high nicotine. With my mouth on fire I abandoned this cigar after the first third. It had three months in the humidor, I doubt more time will improve this cigar. Sorry to post this because I love SP but this blend isn't even yard worthy.

Okay could be a lot better!!
I fell in love with this brand smoking a double maduro and when a private auction came out for the triple Anejo I was all over it. The flavors and aromas are very pleasing at times but it has had some bitter overtones to it.. The construction is fair at best. Hard to keep lite with pits and small crevices. I buried my box for a few months in my humidor and it didn't help much!!

Great new inexpensive smoke.
Outstanding! Rich, smooth, flavourful, long burning, delicious throughout. This is a Maduro lover's go-to smoke. Set aside an hour and some port.

great taste, good draw, smooth after taste

Sharp, acerbic, and burn hot
I like the Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte and was looking forward to trying these. I've smoked about 5 of them and also find them to be Sharp, acerbic, and burn hot. They lack the richness and body that the Extra Fuerte blend has..

Great smoke let it rest in the humidor b4 smoking
Have to let them sit for a little in the humidor after purchasing turns into a creamy smoke burns a little uneven but well worth the price. Great go to everyday cigar

1st Rate
Don't understand all the complaints. I've only tried Robusto size, but about 20 of them have yielded rich taste, razor sharp burn, 1st class construction. I smoke them a little on the moist side (unlike most other cigars).

Not very good
Lit this cigar up expecting a smooth cigar with bite what I got was an assault on my senses, I'm going to let them sit in my humi for a month or so to mellow them out and then hit one up again to see if there's an improvement I should have bought a batch of double maduros

Made my fav list
Love them! Will always have a spot in my humidor.

Not in the same league as Extra Fuerte
After smoking four of these, I have to say this Triple Anejo blend is sharp and acerbic (but not in a peppery way) and lacking in the richness and body that the Extra Fuerte blend has in spades.

Meh! I'll mow the lawn
Ok flavor, burned a little warm, not as deep Anejo flavor as I hoped for, if your trying to pull off the Fuente Anejo experience on a can beer budget then no. But for mowing the yard or cleaning out the garage, walking the pooch it will do.

Did the blender even smoke this cigar?
Let me get this out of the way, I enjoy Sancho Panza cigars. I smoke three to four cigars a day. I've been smoking cigars for thirty years and have tried them all. I purchased a ten pack bundle of the Anejo’s and was looking forward to the new blend. This cigar is by far one of the worst constructed cigars I have ever had. Tunneling, canoeing, filler burning faster than the wrapper, acrid taste. You name the problem and this cigar has it. It wasn’t one flawed cigar in the bundle but all ten. You couldn’t pay me to smoke these cigars again.

Sanchd Panza triple Anejo
I was disappointed. I've always loved Sancho Panzas. The first one was fine, then there were some draw problems on the next two or three. Not what I expected. I'll wait to see what happens after a few more months in the humidor. At this point, not sure I'd buy these again

Triple anejo
Taste not what I expected. Sangho double Mauro is a much better cigar, for both taste and draw.

Too Big
taste good. 6x60 too big and smoked unevenly. Constant relight. Burt

A good value winner
A fine shimmering sheen to the oily wrapper. The inside construction and taste was equal to the first impression. I look forward to trying the toro and gordo sizes for longer, enjoyable smoke. Bill K.
