Caldwell Lost and Found La Whatever

Description

I'll have Whatever!

Caldwell’s Lost & Found Series is as eclectic as they come. Consisting of single batches of top-shelf cigars lost in the aging rooms of some of the world’s top cigar factories, most of the details about Lost & Found releases are undisclosed. But the flavors are absolutely something to write home about, and the packaging is always creative & entertaining.

The Caldwell Lost & Found La Whatever might not have a fancy name, but it does have top-quality tobacco and flavor to spare, owing to the sun-grown wrapper glistening with oils. Beneath this beautiful leaf is a Sumatran binder and well-aged long-fillers sourced from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Medium-full in body and loaded with toast, cocoa, and sweet spices throughout, the name of this highly limited release might sound like a joke, but the Caldwell Lost & Found La Whatever is a seriously good blend.

This has a ton of flavor - stays through the smoke.

I have learned that one can always trust anything from Caldwell and I took a gamble on the La Whatever and it paid off of course. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Cool

I haven't been able to try them yet, it's cold in northern MN right now, but they smell really good and the construction is very good.

Solid LNF option from Caldwell. Little spice, Solid construction, great price. Not as stellar as Paradise Lost or Lemon Cake but worth the price.

The tongue in cheek name and packaging may have hurt the popularity of this release, but the quality and consistency of this flavorful blend matches the reputation of the cigar makers involved. This size vitola is also one of my favorites, so it’s win win for me.

This robusto from Caldwell LNF line is a solid choice while on sale. Smoked 1 box of 2 thus far. Consistent burn, construction and appearance. Flavor is not overwhelming nor underwhelming. I wouldn't say it's as good as the paradise lost or yellowcake but better than cream machine.

I've bought several boxes of these as they're right on the price for the cigar on sale; my opinion of course. Cigar has great build and appearance. Arrived a bit dry and flavor isn't anything to write home about. If on sale they're worth a try.

First off, the name is funny as hell. When these are deeply discounted, they are a steal. Caldwell and Booth did a great job collaborating here. I liked them enough to buy four boxes.

Got a box to try out based on reputation of brand on sale. I've had 2 now after sitting in my humidor. Flavors off the go are some ligero spice and a little cocoa. As cigar progressed it was a decent smoke but nothing earth shattering as flavor goes. Had a run issue with one of them but not bad for sale price

Whatever is a smooth smoke and quite the value for the dollar.

A very mediocre cigar, I taste no cocoa or sweetness, only toast, not a horrible flavor but far from tasty. On top of that, though construction seems good, it doesn’t burn well and typically requires relighting and correction to the uneven burn.

This cigar is a step above a lot but it's not a step above what Caldwell puts out. It has a poor draw but overall decent smoke. Worth it at the right price.
