Real easy smoke,quite moist -need to let it dry out. Tobacco has an interesting smell in the bag before smoking. Never smoked total black cavendish very mild.

I have been a black cavendish smoker for many years starting with amphora. I have a low tolerance for strong tobacco so I was happy to find this one. It is mild but flavorful and burns well. It is the only one I smoke now.

I smoke this pipe tobacco when I don’t have the Peter Stokeby BC on hand. It’s not as full flavored as the PS, but still a very nice smooth flavor and great aroma. I would definitely consider purchasing it again.

flavor and aroma are very similar to Captain black, but is a lot more on the subtle side. Tobacco packs easy and gives off lots of smoke. At this price it's probably going to become my everyday.

Great aroma, both in the bag and burning. Nice sweet taste that hangs on the pallet and in the nostrils. It's very much underpriced, but, don't tell the manufacturer. In Texas we can still smoke in clubs and bars. The other evening I was having a pipe and a drink. The gentleman next to me turned and said, " That tobacco you are smoking makes this place smell nice for everyone. Thank you." I bought him a drink.
