Not sure what they were trying to create in terms of flavor. Nothing I can recognize and nothing I like. They burn just fine, but...I just don't understand what the flavors are...and I ran a high-end cigar store for several years, so my palate is pretty experienced. Good price if you like them.
I keep these in the humidor for large gatherings when you know people are only going to take a few puffs and forget about it. The last couple I had burned and drew nicely, but the flavors were harsh. I've smoked 2 of each of these in the sampler, and all of them are very one dimensional and harsh. I'll continue to age to see if they will mellow overtime, after 12 months in the humidor they are getting better.
What an excellent value for the money. A really nice assortment of cigars at a ridiculously low price. A great everyday smoke. I highly recommend this assortment.
