Victor Sinclair is an overall good smoke. I have ordered this assortment many times before and I have yet to be disappointed. Cigars usually smoke pretty evenly without canoeing. These cigars have a long burn which is something I enjoy. There is something in this assortment for everyone!

Just ordered my second batch of VS Motherlode. Good quality throughout. A few were a bit tight and tough to draw, but for the most part, excellent burn and construction. Enjoyed the variety of flavors with no weak link in the pack.

Gurkha was my go to cigar. VS has greatly improved their cigars. I am also now smoking 'milder' cigars. These are an excellent value, burn evenly, good draw, good flavor. Dominican made. 6X60 my favorite size. Enjoy a brand that is far better than it was 20 years ago.

I've had a few of these along the way over the last few years, but took a shot at this sampler to see how consistent they were. I've had nothing but good burns, billows of smoke, and zero construction problems. I think they're on their way to being a staple in my humidor.

Some of the blends included in this sample had an issue with the wrappers tearing by smoking diminishing some of the overall satisfaction of the cigars. It seemed to be blend specific to the Sinclair regular blend as the others smoked perfect. A couple of the Yankees has a tight draw even with a full cut. But overall a really great sampler for the price. I have bought this sampler before and plan to do so again in the future.

I really like these cigars and I loved the Lotus lighter special. The Moretti special, not so much. The lighter died on me after only a week ... not sure why. Regardless, I do love these smokes and this sample pack has plenty of flavor for me.

This is a good deal but so far out of six cigars smoked three of them were very tighT and hard to draw on. A buddy who tried one stubbed it out after a third of the stick because of difficulty drawing on it. May be why it was a good deal. If this continues I may send them all back.

This sampler has a wide range of intensities, from “mellow” to “spicy”. But all Victor Sinclair cigars are well made, even burning and consistent. This is an excellent value. And the $1 lotus lighter is a crazy good value. When the lighters come back in stock I’m going to order the sampler again. And if I don’t get some cigars for Christmas I’m going to order the stapler again with or without the lighter.

Downfall was almost every one of them had an uneven burn or countinueously had to be relit. I do highly recommend the Connecticut yankee though. It burned better and was great all around!

This is my first time smoking Victor Sinclair. It's a very diverse assortment. I generally lean more toward mild-medium bodied cigars, but all of them have proven to be very enjoyable smokes. I've smoked at least 2 of each variety and the flavor is very nice and they burn evenly and slowly. No constant relighting, no canoeing. Huge value for the price. I'm a new fan. I'll definitely buy these again.

Several years ago I was a diehard Victor Sinclair smoker but over a period of time they started to taste and smoke like a low to moderate price over the counter cigar. They where loosely rolled and never burned even so I left them for another moderately priced cigar I enjoyed on my back porch or on the fishing pier. I put a bid in on these cigars and won and boy did I win, it seems Victor Sinclair replaced their quality control team because these smoke just like I remembered, smooth and even. The sampler just provided my friends and I a variety of flavores and excellent smoking that is affordable to share but smokes like the high priced cigars I save for myself. The "55" series were pretty decent for a cheap smoke. I've tried 2-3 of each of the others and in every case the cigars either tunneled in the first 20 minutes or began to unravel and/or just plain wouldn't stay lit. So far these are the only cigars from CI that I have had an issue with. With all but the 55 series I have tossed them before reaching 1/2 as I spend more time maintaining the burn, keeping it lit etc that I do actually enjoying it. The 55's seem to burn well and have good construction. The taste isn't bad but isn't really my cup of tea though. The 55 is a good solid stick if it fits your flavor profile. I just can't really say anything good for the others. YMMV

I've purchased this sample or a couple of times now and I have to say I don't think you can do better for the price. I found the sticks to be consistently good. The Bohemian bamboos are a bit grassy for me, but both of the 55's that are included are exceptional. I imagine I will continue to buy this mega sampler as long as it is available.

I have smokes for over 30 years and love the Habana Monte #2. This is what gets my palate going. However, these were a good, everyday smoke without any issues. Good construction, nice draw, I did not have to touch them up muck. All in all, a good, everyday smoke.
