Call 505 for Nicaragua

A one-hit wonder is impressive. A dynasty is in a league of its own. And at this point, it’d be hard to call Romeo y Julieta anything other than a “dynasty” brand. Seriously, take a look at this list, RyJ’s got it all — Cuban roots. Amazing, smooth blends. Recent, full-bodied successes. And now, a Nicaraguan puro from Nicaragua. That’s right, this is what you’ve all been waiting for.

Now listen, I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but sometimes you can’t help yourself. And Romeo 505 Nicaragua clearly comes dressed to impress. A gorgeous Habano seed wrapper is expertly box-pressed over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Chow down on this treat and you’ll find a full-bodied mixture of earth, coffee, spice, and slight nuttiness. After a few of these, you’ll realize why everyone’s calling it one of the best Romeos around.

Good news, Romeo 505 Nicaragua has recently received a well-deserved 91-rating, noting: "A gorgeous Churchill wrapped in a dark, oily cover leaf. The sweet, cedary smoke also shows savory notes of leather with hints of roasted nuts and black pepper."

Absolutely amazing smoke. Beautiful oily wrapper, construction is near perfect on this smoke. Out of my box of 20 all burned evenly and without flaw. My new favorite smoke from Romeo hands down. Amazing cigars for a great price.

Prefer Churchill's but seem to be currently unavailable so bought these. Short smoke but OK. Don't seem to finish as well as the Churchill.

This is one of the very best cigars I've ever smoked. A beautiful balance; a richness of taste, outstanding construction, buttery smooth mouthfeel. This stands far above the standard Romeo Y Juliet, which I find bland and dull. The draw could be easier, but with the help of a poker, is usually ideal

Nice full cigar, noticed the second one was better than the first. Maybe because it had 2 weeks of humidor time, so I suggest that. The burn and draw were great, not too loose but not tight. Flavor definitely packed a nice punch but they were nice and complex. Definitely got smoother every 3rd. Definitely enjoyed it, but if you stay in the mild to medium range it probably isn't for you.
