Since 2021, a year of the ox, Plasencia has made a cigar to celebrate the tradition of Chinese New Year. This year, the Plasencia’s honor the Year of the Dragon with this gorgeous cigar. According to Nestor Plasencia, CEO of his family’s company: “The dragon is an animal that perfectly represents our family’s drive for excellence”.
Not much is known about the blend of this extremely limited beauty, but we do know that it’s a Nicaraguan puro that comes in a 6 ½” x 54 torpedo. Notes of baking spices, soft pepper, cedar, and nuttiness pour out of this cigar, and complex changes in the dominant notes keep you wanting more, from the time you light it up all the way down to the nub. We’re splitting these amazing smokes with Europe, so quantities are extremely limited. Be sure to get a box before they’re gone for good!
