The 151st consecutive harvest from one of the most historic tobacco companies ever...
Since 1865, the Plasencia family has been growing some of the finest tobacco in the world. The company first started commemorating their harvests with the Cosecha 146, a combination of fine Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco. Their newest cigar, the Cosecha 151, is a Honduran puro made entirely from tobaccos harvested years ago.
Like I said before, this is a Honduran puro. The wrapper, binder, and filler are all Honduran leaves that were harvested by Plasencia back in 2016. Despite being a simple cigar blend-wise, it’s brimming with complexity and rich flavor. The smoke carries notes of cocoa, dark fruit, baking spices, and just a bit of pepper to balance the powerful sweetness. Take it from someone who adores every cigar the Plasencia family makes, this is one of their finest!
Good news! The Plasencia Cosecha 151 has received a 92-point rating, with the review noting: "An oily, solidly-rolled smoke that calls to mind a slice of fruitcake with impressions of baking spices, candied fruit, walnut and molasses."
