This limited production handmade employs the very best Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper leaves from a small crop cultivated in 1997. Hand-selected and extra-fermented to perfection, this dark and oily leaf conceals a carefully blended recipe of Nicaraguan, Brazilian, and Dominican long-fillers. The result is a deep, rich flavor that's truly Macanudo. Smooth and consistent, each Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997 produces a dark maduro flavor with ample flavor and a soothingly sweet aftertaste.

Once again Macanudo has provided us with a wonderfully crafted vintage series smoke. This is my second box. They have a nice aroma and flavor, and gave a smooth and even burn from start to finish. I was unsure about this as it was my first Macanudo maduro, but they really served it up nicely with this one. Definitely a smoke I’ll keep on hand.

Excellent Medium Smoke that holds it's own against higher prices alternatives. Quality construction with a flavor filled smooth draw. The Maduro wrapper is a pure hand selected dream, holding together a perfect compliment to my favorite Bourbon. I do wish they would restock the five pack so I could use it as Christmas gifts for my family members.

Excellent burn (slow) with flavor, unlike another (inspirational) that had no taste whatsoever. I would recommend the Vintage maduro 1997 to anyone who has the time to kick back and relax !! Great smoke.

Very easy draw and burned evenly. Flavor is nice and smooth for as dark as the wrapper is. Macanudo’s always tend to be a little on the light side anyways, and I found this very enjoyable. Presentation in the box has a very classy look.

I am usually a Cohiba guy, but these Macanudo vintage 97s are awesome! From the cut and the first draw til the end, the cigar gave a good creamy smoke. All of them that I have smoked, have always burned evenly, and held a nice long ash. I look forward to smoking and sharing these with freinds and family. Mike
