A little history lesson

Fifteen years ago, a mostly unknown Cuban expat, Jose “Pepin” Garcia, opened up a tiny, boutique cigar factory in Miami, where he began crafting a brand named “Don Pepin Garcia.” Now, in less than two decades of work, the Don Pepin name is one of the most known in the industry, producing two Cigar of the Year winners in the span of three years, and dishing out tons of reliably high-rated boutique brands. Packaged in an elegant, beautiful chests that scream luxury, the DPG 15th Anniversary is here to celebrate the legacy of this fan-favorite brand. 

Inside each coffin you’ll find an absolutely immaculate Nicaraguan puro. The wrapper leaf is called a “Rosado Oscuro” grown in Nica, joined by Pelo d’Oro tobacco, a rare variety known for its strength and intense, natural sweetness. Toasting the foot, this cigar dishes out a rich oaky core, with thick, syrupy sweetness and loads of spicy red pepper on the end – in short, it’s an elegant blend that’ll pair beautifully with any scotch or whiskey you want, and will remind you why the DPG name is so important in our industry.
