Great sampler across the board.
Love the variety of tastes and sizes. I'm not fond of AB Decades.... Replace those with some Gurkhas of similar size, no-maduro and I'd buy this every order.

A great sampler for smokers who enjoy quality variety in their smokes at modest price. My sampler’s outer packaging was crushed on one corner when delivered to the post office. Fearing the worst I was delighted to find the inner protective packaging completely protected unscathed all cigars inside. Nice job CI in all aspects for this sampler product!

The Chosen One V Sampler
All the cigars in this sampler were great. I lean more towards a stronger cigar. These to me seemed to cover the strength spectrum from mild to strong. I liked most of the ring gauges too. It has been my experience that those fatter cigars are harder to enjoy after the halfway point. I have seen them split and unravel. One of the larger cigars had to be "put down" 2/3rds of the way.

Great cigars, terrible packaging
The package spent a little longer than usual in the postal system but arrived nonetheless in unacceptable condition. There was packaging material on top of the cigars but not underneath, so the cigars on the bottom of the package were fairly abused by the time the package arrived. It's a great sampler but several of these sticks cannot be saved and the rest are definitely worse for the wear.

Disappointed
Three out of the five Cohiba's were wrapped so tight I was unable to draw and had to cut them shorter. Two of the five Macanudo burned to the side and down the center and became hot when drawing. I keep my humidor at 70 percent and placed the cigars in it upon there delivery. The remaining cigars we're ok but I would not order any them in the future.

I thought this deal was too good to be true... but I was wrong. This is a great way to get a terrific assortment of cigars at an unbelievably low price. There were two cigars brands in the bundle I would not have tried on my own - not even risking the money on one stick - which is obviously why they bundle the popular smokes with some of the lesser-known ones (at least they're "lesser known" to me), and I'm glad they did - because I discovered a couple of new smokes that I would buy again. And even if they're weren't my taste, they'd still great to hand out to friends! Cheers!

Recently tried the Chosen One V sampler. C.I. has put together a great selection of satisfying cigars that are a pleasure to sit down with. The sizes make for a reasonable amount of time for the afternoon relaxing, have a smoke and a drink, time. I an very disappointed in the Monte Cristo Media Noche cigar included. I have tried two now and they were just awful! Loosely wrapped and mushy! One had a split near the cut end that ruined the draw. The taste was harsh I believe due to the looseness of the cigar making it burn very hot. Yuck! But the remainder of the sample brands were excellent. I'll try the other included Montes before I decide to try this sampler again.

The Chosen One (and done) V Sampler
One of the best samplers I've ever ordered. Not a bum in the batch. I don't light up every day so I want something good when I do; and I'm not the Monopoly guy so I'm not going to buy a $15-$25 stick. Every cigar in this sampler is worth the price and, more importantly, the time.

Hmmm
So far, good. Just last night I selected one of the chiba cigars to try . Sadly , I couldn't smoke it. It was dry and the wrapper flaked I nto pieces. The other selections have been great, though. On an additional note..... the Cohibas were shipped loose , not in a sealed bundle as the others were. I've had the same problem with a bonus purchase of Vegas 5's last fall. Overall, I have enjoyed the selections . BTW , yes, I do store in a humidor that currently is around 68% .

Great sampler
This is the best sampler in my opinion. Different varieties for whatever occasion. The cohiba's are a great bonus but I am mostly excited about finding a new smoke I wouldn't have normally grabbed of the shelf and that's the montecristo media noche. It's defiantly my favorite in this sampler. dont forget to add more monte Cristos to your order, you won't be disappointed.

Mostly a good experience
Great sampler, reasonable price. My only reason for not giving a higher rating is due to my poor experience with the Gurka cigars. Uneven burn issues on two occasions have scrapped this brand for me. I will not reorder until something else takes the place of the Gurkas.

On a budget
The cigars here are less expensive and fresher than my local cigar shop. I meight smoke 2 cigars plus and minus a week so I can't justify spending 12 dollars a cigar for the cigars I was smoking 6 years ago for 5 or 6 bucks. My retirement money did not double in the last 5 years so I look for great deals on quality cigars. The Christmas specials were great and my family got me cigars so I am set for the next 5/6 months :)

All cigars were fine except the Gurkha Beauty. This was quite possibly one of the worst cigars i’ve ever smoked. The wrapper came apart, cracked, and fell off on every one. They all burned down the middle, leaving the outsides unburnt and needing to constantly being recut. They all tasted like I was smoking a burnt rope. Since the other cigars were all fine it wasn’t my humidor. I will never buy this chosen one again unless they delete the Gurkha Beauty (Ugly).

Not so fast
Appears to be a good value, but frustration over poor draw changed that. I've never been a fan of the Gurkha Beauties (uneven burn) and the Montecristo Media Noche Edmundo tunnels on every stick I've ever smoked. This would be a decent sampler without the ten cigars I've mentioned if sold at a lower price. As it is, I won't buy it again.

I give this 5 stars because each of these cigars is truly a great cigar in it's own right. I also give it 5 stars because the "sampler" factor is incredibly true, as these are all very different smokes, with very unique characteristics. The chosen one!
The majority of these cigars will be taking a long rest in the humidor over the winter. Having enjoyed most of the cigars in this sampler before, and trying the ones that I hadn't, I can say that every one of these cigars is an above average smoke.
