A mugging deterrent and cigar cutter all in one!

I wouldn't go strolling down a shady alley at night with this thing, but it definitely takes the term kill two birds with one stone to heart. The Survivor Cutter/Knife serves not only as a nice cutting utensil, it also makes short work out of cigars. Simply place the head of the cigar in the opening of the handle and squeeze the blade downward using your palm. But if you're more interested in slicing and dicing, you can simply flip the blade out and use it as a pocket knife, the choice is yours. Featuring an all metal design, and heavy-duty belt clip, you'll be toting this thing around everywhere. Blade is 2". Comes packaged in an attractive gift box.

It fits nicely in my cigar travel bag. The blade is sharp and folds easily. The was a loose screw issue. Hopefully it’s not reoccurring.

Well-constructed with an easy opening blade. I have not used the built in cutter (I use a V cutter) but, the blade is very sharp & should do the job. I like the clip on the handle that lets me keep it at the top of my pocket for quick access. I'm very satisfied with it.

Pretty handy: has a clip so you can hang it in your pants pocket, Decent sharp blade. The only concern is being careful not to cut yourself when closing blade to cut cigar. Not quite effective on wider or flatter cigars.

Not too bad! It's a fun conversational piece, however not a large ring gage on it. Strong metal frame, and one side is ground for the cutting edge which I think was a smart move.

The knife edge was fairly sharp it did cut the end of a cigar relatively well however the locking function for the blade did not work it would not engage to the lock the blade due to the lock part being too long to lock the blade

My blade arrived razor sharp and cuts clean but was wobbly. Haven't tried it as a knife yet. I give a middlin' rating cuz I had to take it apart and re-build it properly. Added shims under the spacers separating the side-plates. No more wobble and it does look good.

This is a GREAT knife, VERY sharp. I'm a little disappointed in the cigar cutting capability. The knife seems to not cut completely through or destroy the cap when attempting to "cut through". If you roll your cigar it will allow you to trim the cap quite nicely. On a torpedo tip multiple cuts have to be made in order to get a decent cut. I do like the belt clip, and I keep it on me at all times, but I use the cigar cutter as a "plan B" in the event I forget my guillotine cutter. Would i recommend the knife, why not? It's not a bad knife & I do keep my knives pretty sharp, this one fails as a true cigar cutter. ...sorry CI

I was excited about this initially, I thought it would be great to just be able to carry a knife that had the convenience of a cigar cutter. Unfortunately, I am kind of disappointed in the cut it gives. Its a great knife, feels good in your hand and leaves a clean cut on anything besides a cigar. But I guess it is just technically a single blade cutter, so that in mind id give a 3 out of 5.

I'ts a beautiful looking Knife and Cutter, however it doesn't operate quite well as a cutter, I felt like I was going to ruin the cigar unless I had a perfect line up every time. Otherwise, as a Knife not bad, its sharp.

....The blade wedged in the handle so tight it would not open.... I was am very disappointed, I expected better from CI. This product looks nice in the box and is sharp. I should not have to reengineer he product to make it useable. I do not recommend this product. I even received it at a reduced price from MMAO. spend the cash and buy the name brand version !
