Great sticks. The Cargos are perfect for pawning off to your friends who would not know the difference between a Cuban Cohiba and a swisher sweet. Great for mowing the yard or while fixing your car. I recommend.

A few clunkers (poor construction), but overall a good value for the price.

Granted that these are low end Rocky's but they are better than most cigars in this price range. You get a variety of several of his cigars that deliver different tastes. I would recommend putting them in your humidor a good week before smoking as they were delivered to me a little on the dry side. I would pay again for sure.

I like RP so I thought I'd try this and it didn't disappoint me.

I’m a little disappointed w/ cargo, all the other smoke were great. It’s not that cargo was bad it just wasn’t as good as expected

Some were good and some were not. Specifically “The Edge” were soft, didn’t burn well and unwrapped. The others were ok. I probably won’t buy this again. I will pay a few extra dollars and get the ones I want.

I bought this as a gift for my brother as it seemed like a good deal. He as an avid cigar enjoyer and seldom complains about the cigars I send, knowing they are value related. He said half were good one was acceptable and one was terrible. He would prefer I send my normal order. I guess you get what you pay for. Not a shot at CI or rocky, just not a great sampler

Did not like it. It is to mellow for me. For the price I paid for...it’s not worth it. Save your money.

Not a bad budget sampler if you don't mind short filler cigars. Construction is pretty good, not super flavorful but decent yards sticks you won't mind throwing out if you have yo.

So far I have only sampled one from the selection, a maduro, and it was quite good!

As in many things you get what you pay for. Cigars were very reasonably priced but when compared to my regularly purchased Rocky Patels, not quite the same caliber.

Very pleased with the Rocky Patel Po'Boys. Gave some to my friends and they thought the cigars burned even and had a great taste. Plus the price was right.

Pricing is right and after a few weeks in the humidor they smoke well

Too dry......Needed a lot of humi-love. Some were cracked & split upon arrival. Decent buy for price though.

So far I've smoked 3 types of the sampler & they've been awesome. Not dried out, just perfect. Great blends. Can't go wrong with Rocky's and CI!!

This was a special price for a very special brand. A fair assortment of medium priced but decent smokes. Wished they would have thrown in a couple 90+ rated.

I smoke from none to 10 cigars a day. Cigar smoking is a habit, not an addiction. The Po Boy offers a variety of mild, good priced, diverse flavored, good cigars. CI, don't mess with them. Leave them as is and I'll keep buying them.

I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of this purchase given the name "Rocky Patel" and especially the brand "Edge". The cigars were all loosely constructed and the flavor was harsher than expected.. However, given the price, I can't say I was surprised. .

Good cigars. The delivery got delayed by Hurricane Irma but otherwise all is great.

What a great value. The different blends of cigars have suttle differences but I am enjoying them all even the madura which I usually find to be too strong.

Taste was good. However, smoking the Edge Fumas, with the short fillers, was a battle. Constantly spitting out tobacco bits was not enjoyable.

Pretty pleased although the Edge sticks are burning inconsistently. Is that due to the "Cuban Sandwich" construction?

I found that some burned on one side and some you couldn't draw any air through but what do you expect for inexpensive cigar.

Decent for the price. Unfortunately mine were a little stale when I got them. I also found red mesh inside 2 of the cigars and had to throw them away. Not through them all yet, so there may be more with this issue. Good smoke and flavor, nonetheless.

This would really be more 3.5 starts if i could. First i will start off with as a mainly mild to medium smoker i was really impressed with the Edge from both a flavor and appearance standpoints, especially the maduro version. The Connecticut is also a very easy to smoke and I have very much enjoyed them as well. So if i could rate this sampler on just these 2 smokes alone it would be great. Then comes the Cargo.... one of the most inconsistent cigars I have ever smoked. I have had a couple that were decent but I have also had a few that had a strange harshness to them that makes them taste terrible. They are also the only RP I have ever had an issue with the wrapper cracking or unraveling on me. Letting them rest for a few months did nothing for their flavor.

They are a very enjoyable cigar. Just the right size for me. Very satisfied

Have only smoked two of the sticks out of this bundle so far. The first one burnt a little hot and I didn't care for it too much, but the second one was great. Too early to tell how the rest of the bundle will be but I'm expecting more half good half bad results.

All the cigars were good besides the the corojo fumas , they were so dry and never got any humidity back in them . Even after 2 weeks in the humidor

I originally thought this was an incredible deal and that I was actually going to get some decent left overs. I found out that these are all made from short filler left overs that were swept up off of the floor. Unless you enjoy spitting out tobacco after every draw or need to fill your humidor with "Mooch" cigars, steer clear of this bunch. The taste is great but the only piece of tobacco you will find in them more than 1/8" long will be the wrapper. Still gets 3 stars since although it is short filler, it is still good tobacco that it came from.

I have always enjoyed the Rocky Patel brand - their Connecticut is my favorite "have on hand" cigar. I also enjoy purchasing sampler packs. So I was, excited when I stumbled upon a Rocky Patel Sampler Pack. Two of the four cigars were fantastic (Edge Corojo & Edge Maduro) and everything I love about Rocky Patel. Unfortunately, the other two were mediocre (Connecticut Fumas) and horrendous (Cargo Toro), in that order. The Cargo Toro were literally unsmokable. I mean that I literally could not keep the cigar lit. They were packed so tight that it was like smoking a wooden dowel rod. (I have since then thrown these cigars away.) So while the Edge Corojo & Edge Maduro were fantastic, they don't make up for the Cargo Toro.

Good value for the money. A few duds (poor draw or uneven burn) but great RP flavor. Bought a second round and enjoy one almost daily.

The Maduros were fresh but the Churchills were like bricks now I know why they were discounted!

I have always enjoyed Rocky Patel but one of the blends in this sampler was HORRID! The Fumas blends were predictably good and well constructed however the Cargo blend was poorly constructed - it required use of a punch because if a cutter was used it became more of a "chew" than a smoke. It seemed as though the Cargo was made with choppings. I will not be reorder this sampler.

Thought I would try this sampler so I could sample Rocky's Cargo offering. I have bought numerous bundles of the Fumas, and really enjoyed them. Fumas as always was very enjoyable, the Cargo's? absolutely the worst rolled cigar I have ever seen! every one of them looked like some second graders were in art class! they actually look like the outer was never applied, just some tobacco bundled up, rolled together, and slammed inside the cellophane wrapper. I will continue to buy the Fumas as a bundle, but will never buy the cargo again. Shame on Rocky Patel for allowing something this bad to slip through their inspection!

Very mediocre, burn quickly flavor profile ok but expected better from something with the Patel name on it. Definitely a low end yard gar.

A mixed bag of RP's is amazing. Hard to beleive the complete differences between each style was amazing..I enjoyed the "CARGO" the best. They made it through nine holes walking the links and I never shot over 43...its my good luck stick ! (along with my putter)....Tom Terrific!

These sticks are better than peanut butter. I only had one bad burn... it couldn't be because I set it down on a wet green. The wife has already ordered more for fathers day.

you get what you pay for the cargos were decent the edges were decent the Connecticut's were terrible. I think I'm done with fumas and seconds or Cuban sandwich cigars. When you take a time out to enjoy a cigar you should enjoy it not try to convince yourself to find something good about it. That being said I would rather have 1 good cigar a day than 5 cheap Cuban sandwich cigars (tobacco scraps)

All-in-all, a pretty good smoke from Rocky; really liked them all, however, the "Cargo" were just a little more loose than the others, but at this price I really cannot complain. I'm actually going to order more today.

Overall a great deal on a nice mix of cigars. Areal nice mix of good tasting cigars. I did have some issues with a few that were rolled very tightly & very hard to draw. I also had a couple that burned unevenly. I just ordered them again since I'm a Po' Boy that's unemployed right now & they make for some good therapy & stress relief!!

I'm definitely not a cigar snob, and I have explored lots of brands from CI. These were a total disappointment. Big name or not, the flavors were just not there. They had a harsh taste. The smoke they generated was not aromatic and pleasing. Will definitely not order again.

I bought these without really knowing that they were mixed filler. I only smoked one connecticut fumas and it was very moist and spongy, didn't burn well and was quite harsh. I was very impressed with the edge maduro fumas, 5 out of 5 for the construction, good draw and excellent flavor. The edge corojo fumas are excellent as well. The cargo is definitely worth a try too. Good mid range cigar I'm really actually liking the cargo. I'm hoping the rest of the connecticut fumas are better than the first one.

This is a great value buy. The Edge is a great smoke for anytime. The Cargo is full of flavor and much better than anticipated. The Connecticut Fumas is a bit light, with only mild transitions, but lots of smoke and great draw. All in all you can't really go wrong with this a bargain bundle for everyday smokes that you will enjoy, and can feel confidant sharing. Perfect thing to fill your humidor with. I only give it 4 instead of 5 stars because I have to reserve 5 stars for truly GREAT bargains or GREAT smokes.
