REO Sale

No speed-wagon included

Many of you may remember the REO cigar released under EO Brands in years past. The cigar, for those who aren’t familiar, was a great medium-full bodied blend, one that consistently performed time and time again. Sadly, REO became a casualty of business disputes. With three different industry titans involved in the making of this handmade, there were simply too many mouths to feed. Partnerships severed, and REO went the way of the dinosaurs. However, it was always the brain child of Eddie Ortega, and finally, he's brought this delicious premium back for all to enjoy.

At hand today is the rereleased REO, back and better than ever. An oily maduro wrapper is draped over Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers to create a tasty handmade that can be enjoyed any day (especially at these prices). Pair it up with a hot cup of coffee, or a cold glass of rum, and enjoy the slightly sweet, coffee and chocolate dominant profile. If anything is an indication of how great this rerelease is, it's how quickly the samples "disappeared" from our offices. And let's not forget the best news: You can enjoy these blends at CI for well below retail every day of the week.

An unfortunate experiment
Inconsistent in quality and somewhat bland, even when construction appeared good. If you prefer strong flavor and spice, this is not the smoke for you.

REO,Yes or No???
Med ,with decent flavor of cocoa and pepper, not overly complex.A little lacking in quality of construction, creating burn problems.Still a little damp, may smoke better after couple weeks? Decent yard smoke,on the cheap...

bitter
Not a bad smoke, but not what I was expecting.

Inconsistent
Not a bad cigar but not on my top ten list. Ordered the 15 pack and got mixed results with some good and others not so. The last one, which I'm smoking as I type, has a smooth draw with good smoke. The construction is not consistent, cigar to cigar, with one splitting when I tried to open it up because it was wrapped too tight. Shared one with a buddy and he wasn't too keen, pitching it half way through. Price for the bundle was selling point, with it also being a maduro, which happen to be my favorite wrapper. Will I order them again? Nah.

Welcome Back!!!
So pleased to see the "REO" back on the market! I had almost forgotten it's unique flavor, tons of smoke per puff and overall sweetness. A great 'bang for the buck' will be a standard in mu humidors!!

Love 'em
Can't say enough good things about this cigar. You all can't seem to keep them in stock though...which hurts.

Glad they're back!
I was a fan of REO back when they were first released. Was saddened when they when they went under due to partnership problems. Was very happy to see them return and bought a bundle. They're still just as good as they once were. Great taste and aroma, with a nice slow burn. Ihighly recommend them.

Decent cigar, even burn and consistant wrapper and flavor.
Not the greatest cigar nor the worst. Nice draw and the wrapper stayed intact and the flavor was nice and mellow. A great cigar to have while on the deck building a Sherman tank model. I would order these again as they are a good value for the price. I might have a couple tucked away in the humidor the my next deck appointment.

Good bang for the buck
Almost as good as an El Rey del Munro robustly, but cheaper...not quite an El Rey.

REO
Well done. They needed some time in the humidor. First ones I ordered were in better shape but these were satisfactory. Have been been reading some disturbing stuff about the practices of one of your competitors who in fact appear to have scammed one of my friends. Keep doing what you're doing and you have a loyal customer

A little Harsh
I bought the smaller size and it was a bit tricky getting used to the roughness of the draw. Not for anyone who wants a creamy and smooth smoke, but it DOES have a little richness if you're patient with it.

almost 5 star
Good, full flavor, stays lit most of the time, but towards the end have to re-light, changes flavor. Only reason it's not 5 star.

Great cigar
The first time I bought the Rio cigars I was taking a chance, but when I received them I tried one as soon as could after I loading my humidor and I had to have another one right after. After getting half way down on my stash I had to get some more before I run out, so I ordered some more for 3 day shipping so I wouldn't run out and it is at a very good price very good cigars with always keep in stock.

A great blast from the past
I smoked these years ago before the company fell apart and was surprised and delighted to see them available again. Very well constructed and offers a nice smooth burn. Enjoyable anytime but great on the golf course! Premium cigar at a reasonable price-worth a try if haven't yet.

Reo Robusto
The Roe Robusto packs a real punch and is a full flavored smoke. Starts with a little bite and then smooths out to end with tons of power in it's finish. This is a mid range tasting cigar for a low end cigar price. Get'em while their cheap!

Reo Chairman
Good cigar for that price, slightly fast burner than usual cigars in that class.

Mow the Lawn
Ok for yard projects and night time walk with the dog around the block, but that is where it ends. It might be a better smoke with a little humidor nap?

Somewhat disappointed
I remember my first REO many years ago and was very impressed; unfortunately the latest version was inconsistent n draw and the flavor was not as nuance as the previous one.

REO- A tasty smoke at a decent price
This wasn't my first box of REO and it won't be my last. REO is a well built, good tasting smoke at a reasonable price. A good every day smoke that doesn't break the bank. Smooth and leathery throughout.

A great everyday cigar
I purchased a box of these and very much liked them. Especially for the price. I liked them so much that I ordered a second box. They're a very good everyday cigar.

Love this smoke!
Love the size, lingering sweetness at the end, great taste, good smoke. A bit inconsistent in construction from mazo to mazo but not a huge issue.

Good cigar at bargain price
I bought these as part of a special. Did not know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised. This is a good stick at a bargain price. I would buy again.

REO Rocks Again
I was a big fan of the original box pressed REO and was disappointed when they went away. With the recent introduction, I had to purchase them to see if they were as good as I remember. They are tasty, not overpowering, and perfect around a campfire. I think I prefer the box pressed from before but would definitely buy the "new" version again.

Great sleeper deal!
Awesome smoke. Easy to smoke, burns even with plenty of smoke. Rich without being oily and stayed cool to the end. This will become one of my go-to's. Can't beat the price, could easily sell for twice or more.

IMHO I like the taste! Good purchase.

Reo is a good looking cigar with a not-so-good flavor
I ordered these cigars based upon the look and description given in CI. I would agree with everything except the flavor was not very good and the draw was too loose for my taste. The wrapper, construction and smoke output was excellent however. I hope the makers change the blend in the future.

Great Reo
It has this mature taste, you find in 5-8 dollar cigars have . It is smooth and delicious. It needs 2 weeks in the humidor, to bring to life. Performs flawlessly. My go to cigar after dinners.

For price, a pretty decent smoke
I enjoyed the first bundle and am expecting a second bundle any day now. Pretty smooth smoke, well constructed but i did notice a few did the chimney bit and burned up one side. I snipped those off and continued to enjoy the cigar. Nice color and after taste.

Mighty tasty smoke
Good construction, nice size for the right length of smoke, maduro responsible for lots of flavor.

Bang for the buck!
Needs a little time in the humidor but still a great smoke. Great construction and draw, for the price I believe I will keep this one on short list.

Very Mild, mild med. at best!
One of the very few times, maybe the only time, I have been disappointed with C.I. and I have been a customer for years. They rated this as med full, but it was a mild at best. Very hard to draw. Really for me, a waste of money. On the plus side, it looks to be very well constructed, nice band, burns even, smells good, a really good looking cigar. But of you are not a mild or mild med type of guy, then I wouldn't even bother ordering this.
