Rounding out the best new cigar line in years, welcome Genesis Habano.
Ramon Bueso has taken the industry by storm in the past two years, but he has been honing his craft since 1977. He played an integral part in catapulting the legendary Villazon factory to new heights, and worked right alongside master-blenders such as Frank Llaneza and Estelo Padron. Responsible for highly-acclaimed blends from Hoyo de Monterrey to Punch, Ramon’s credentials speak for themselves.Genesis Habano is Ramon’s third offering, and brings his core line full circle. Ramon took his time with this concoction, and meticulously scoured through endless wrappers leaves until he was satisfied that he had hit a homerun. After securing his choice wrapper and adding a hearty portion of select ligeros to Genesis Habanos core, Ramon has set the stage for an instant showstopper. Two years on tinkering behind him, Ramon’s pride and joy, Genesis Habano, has finally come to fruition, and the result was most certainly worth the wait. His original Genesis blend was tweaked to perfection and paired with a dark, leathery, and insanely delicious Ecuadorian Habano ligero wrapper, to create a bold, unique experience. A rich and hearty tobacco core laced with ligero is backed by complex notes of wood, espresso, pepper, honey, and roasted nuts in this smooth, full-bodied creation.
Ramon Bueso cigars have been top of the mark since his first release. I loved the Genesis project ten times more than the original and let me just say, when I saw he now had a full strength Habano I got excited and I knew it would be good, but no, these are outstanding and amazing! The Habano is ten times better than the Genesis project. It is sooo smooth from start to finish, deep, dark, rich. A multitude of flavors.
This is a great medium bodied cigar, not full. With that being said, it's loaded with complex flavors. I got the taste of pear on the dry draw and from that point I knew I was in for a treat. Once lit, honey and cedar greet you followed by roasted almond. This is a cigar will soon be in the rotation of many smokers.
