Punch has been no stranger to celebrating Chinese culture with special blends they release annually. This year, they changed things up, and instead of borrowing from Chinese cuisine, they’ve decided to honor the Year of the Dragon. Packed into a 5” x 60 short Gordo meant to mimic firework casings, this limited edition lives up to the hype.
The blend starts with a cocktail of filler leaves from Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic, bound by a Nicaraguan leaf from Condega, and wrapped in a hearty Mexican San Andres leaf. Despite the short and stout stature, this cigar burns slowly and pops with flavor, so be sure to get your hands on some before they’re gone.
