Since its inception in Havana, Cuba, Montecristo has been pleasing palates across the world. Sure, it’s gone through a ton of different releases and looks throughout the years, but no matter what type of cigar bears the Montecristo name, you know they’re gonna be good. Today, we welcome one of the newest Connecticut releases from this historic brand, Montecristo Perlado. 

Made in the style of Montecristo White Vintage, this Dominican handmade features a true Connecticut leaf up top. Underneath, you’ll find a mixture of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers. The combination produces an exceptionally smooth blend that you won’t soon forget — toasted nuts join cream and slight spice in a pleasant and mellow profile that never overwhelms.

I bought a 5 pack to sample these they are excellent. I’ll buy a full box after enjoying them. These are better than the montecristo classic in my opinion for a mellow to medium cigar. I like the lighter more mellow cigars personally.

this is my favorite cigar for over 40 years of cigar smoking. The Perladois smooth, burns perfectly almost every time. After years of trying many cigars Montecristo is my personal favorite and Perlados meet my test for flavor and consistency.

This stick has a nice medium bodied flavor. It has notes of oak, leather, and a hint of vanilla. However, two sticks so far have not burned evenly and required frequent re-lighting. Overall, it is a decent purchase for the money. These are much more affordable than Whites or Espadas. It looks as nice as its siblings but not the premium price.

Excellent mild cigar, perfect even burn and ash, with a nice lingering smoke trail and aroma after the draw. This is what you expect from a Montecristo cigar. Its profile is similar to the White, but different and perhaps a bit more refined with a very smooth bit of spice and toasty flavor that I really enjoy. The cigars I received were very fresh, requiring only a short stay in my humidor.

This cigar had a great flavor, a little nutty and slightly fruity. I would have given it a 5 star rating but there was a little inconsistency with the smoke/burn. some cigars felt loosely packed from the others. Id say 2 out of ten had this issue.

A smooth, even burning, delicious cigar. It lights easily and maintains is slightly spicy flavor right down to the smallest nub. Put it down for a minute, it waits patiently for your return, no additional fire necessary, no nasty smoldering taste .

I recently ordered a box of these. They are a great cigar. I did have an issue with two of them though. One burnt extremely hot and down the center, even after relighting. Another started to shed leaf as I was smoking. Overall a great smoke.
