Nice mild smoke

Really great smoke for mild-to-medium lovers like me. Excellent construction and burn. Diameter seems a little small for a Toro (it's really a Churchill ring gauge).

These are great outdoor “winter” smokes. In these crazy cold winter months I’ll step outside a few times a day and be back in before the cold gets the best of me. They are tasty with a smooth even burn.

I bought 2 - 5 packs a few days ago. I’ve found my new ‘go to’ cigar. This is a very impressive smoke and thanks to CI, very ‘affordable’. It checks all the boxes. Light it once and never have to ‘re-dress’ it. I just placed my order for a box of 20. Impress your friends with one.

Not great but a good smoke for the price

Very enjoyable cigar. Wrapped nicely in Connecticut leaf, burns evenly and cool. Notes of coffee, leather and sweet island tobacco. Sometimes the lesser known brands offer great bargains, and I am very happy with this purchase especially at 70% off! Cigars international is a beloved tobacco company I have been buying from along with pipes and cigars, for several years now. I began my tobacco journey with corn cob pipes, like many of us. The first tobacco tins I bought were CAO cherry 🍒 bomb and Stanwell vanilla. Having transitioned over from cigarettes and other consumables which were harsh on the lungs, I have found the wonderful peaceful hobby of tobacco smoking to be therapeutic for me in many ways. I love to sit and smoke my cigar or pipe, it calms me down and helps me focus on the good things. Sometimes, I have a pipe when I am not feeling well, and it makes me happy. I typically enjoy tobacco on occasion, but when I first started with the pipes I was smoking a lot because I had a lot of free time. To each his own I suppose, but I find tobacco to weave nicely with my lifestyle of working and relaxing, and even exercising when I can. Because I do not inhale the smoke, and don’t overuse tobacco, I find that I have not developed any bad side effects from using it. In fact, I believe it may even help with things like anxiety, depression, boredom and there are places and times when I find a cigar or pipe to just make me feel like myself, whether alone or with others nearby. I look forward to days sitting by a fire, reading or watching a movie with friends, coffee and tobacco. I’m relatively new to smoking and learning about fine cigars. I have tried My Father, Arturo Fuente, Oliva, Ashton among others. I have to say that these Black Pearls are outstanding !

Though this stick doesn’t knock my socks off, it does have an enjoyable flavor profile. And the construction seems to be be very consistently high quality. Quite frankly, price point considered, I’d give it a 4.5.

This mild to medium cigar is a good buy. Have smoked quite a few, and rarely get a bad one.

I have tried all of the Black Pearls and also the White Pearl and while they are all very good I think this and the Rojo are my favorite. Its in my top three shade wrapped cigars along with Rocky Patel Connecticut and Gurkha Park Avenue. This is arguably the best value of the the three. The White Pearl is almost as good, but I like the extra kick of the Black Pearl Oro

Nice even burn

I've enjoyed La Perla Habana sticks for several years, but only recently tried their Oro Robusto. This is a mellow-to-medium-bodied smoke at a decent price. It burns well and evenly, for the most part. Don't expect the subtleties and nuances of flavor that you'll find in, say, an Oliva Connecticut Reserve, but the Oro costs only about half as much. Overall, it's a thumbs-up for a respectable every day smoke.
