Well, it almost killed Bill...
Over a decade ago, La Palina was blending new cigars, and sent a sample up to founder Bill Paley. Because of the overwhelming strength of the blend, Bill couldn’t even finish the cigar. As such, the cigar quickly became known as the KB, or “Kill Bill”.
The blend features a Honduran Corojo wrapper atop a dual Honduran Criollo binder, with Nicaraguan Corojo and Nicaraguan Criollo at the center of it all. However, the blend was altered a bit for the larger ring sizes by adding more leaves of ligero. For flavors, this cigar packs plenty of pepper, molasses sweetness, baking spice, and oak. If you’re a fan of stronger cigars (or the Kill Bill movies), you’ll love this cigar!
