Th​e ne​w La Gloria Serie R Black is handcrafted in Nicaragua which allows for​ easier access to the powerful, ultra-flavorful tobaccos contained within. A Nicaraguan Tapado ligero wrapper grown in Jalapa overlays a bold, well-aged, Cuban-seed blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers.​ This combination is ripe with flavor and strength, offering a rich n’ hearty profile brimming with notes of pepper, earth, coffee, cedar, cream, honey, and spices. Delicious, noticeably stronger than the already-powerful Serie R line, and ready to satisfy even the most discriminating palates. These cigars are beautifully constructed, they burn even,have to touch up ever so often , but well worth it. Big plumes of smoke great creamy notes pairing with you favorite bourbon. Make sure you have 2 hours hours to enjoy it will take you every minute of it. This is my favorite version of La Gloria Cubanas

I like it but my only disappointment is it should be a 50 or better ring Guage as a true Churchill, not at its (I feel) Lonsdale size. In its current "Churchill" size it tends to get hot.

I love these as an after dinner smoke. I like the box pressed construction of this cigar. It allows it to have a nice long, even burn while producing a lot of smoke and diverse flavors I would recommend that anyone should be very careful cutting the cap. I have used a V cutter, a punch and a straight cutter and with each method I’ve had some splitting issues

This cigar is phenomenal. If you like the Serie R, but haven’t had the Black, you are in for a treat. This one reaches farther on the palate wheel and as usual the draw is consistent and burns perfectly. The Churchill vitola I found to be very pleasant in this stick. The box presents well and fits nicely on the shelves side by side on the smaller thermoelectric humidors.
