I order 2 and just received them on Friday. I am using 1 in a new humidor (a small 25 cigar that I won in a raffle) and I just finished seasoning it, the 2nd is to replace a older puck in my 50 count humidor. I think they will be perfect for what I am using them for and will review again down the road, but I had the same problems that a couple of other people had with the gels pushing through the top. so this is what I learned about these. I tried to pour distilled water into it, that was a major fail, the screen just let the water run off, so I put them in a small container, up side down and let them sit in distilled water for 15 minutes, I tried to make sure that the gel beads were evenly distributed across the container but the one I tried to pour water into had a lot of the gel beads bunched up on one end because some water did go through the top. I had mixed results. Both tubes had some beads coming through, but the one that was bunched up was pretty messy, I pushed several back in and some of them were crushed in the process of pushing them back in, a bit of a pain, but it was only a couple of minutes to push them back in. If I had to do it with a new stick again, I would definitely sit them in water (the level was even with the top of the Humi Stick), make sure that the beads are distributed evenly across the stick before submerging and maybe leave them in the water for 10 - 12 minutes to see how they are doing before the beads have a chance to pop out. I have not had enough time to see how well they work in keeping a constant humidity level in my humidor, but will come back here in a couple of months with an update. I just wanted to let people know to be careful when first starting out with these so they don't run into the same problem as a lot of other people. I think they are going to be great, I like the size and the shape, so we will see how it goes from here.

OK for flat use, but does not work if standing on end as all the pellets shift to one end and won't go back in place. I also feel you lose a lot of pellets through the screen, but again, that may be due to me using it in a vertical storage holder.
