This unit's accuracy is not quite the same as the gage on my humidor. The box shows 70 and the unit shows around 63. I go through cigars fast enough where it doesn't matter that much, but if I had a stockpile, I would look around for the guage with the best accuracy.

This was a freebie... and its pretty awesome... magnetic install is pretty slick...

I have had many of these . I have found they have to be set after you get then, my last one was new in July 2019, had to replace the battery and recalibrate. or should I say try! cant seem to get it adjusted .I am using the salt water in cup with in zip lock bag. this is common after two years.

Works great. No issues with accuracy. small and compact doesn't take up a lot of space in humidor.

Just got two in for my new humidor and they work perfectly. Simple to use right out of the box. Magnet on the back was sturdy and strong, easily placed and visible through the glass without opening the unit.

I bought two of these for a couple of small humidors I have that were not large enough to accept any other size unit. After about two months, one of the units would not change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The other unit began using batteries very quickly. I put a new battery in the unit on a Monday and when I went into the humidor on Wednesday, the unit was dead. I replaced the battery again and in two days, it exhausted the battery and was blank. This is not acceptable for a product and any price, let alone something that costs the better part of 20 dollars.

The hygrometer works great. I have a humidor fashioned out of an old 50 cal ammo can and the magnet secures nicely to the lid.

This is a perfect hygrometer for any type of humidor. It works seamlessly and give you piece of mind with respect to the level of desired humidity.

I'm on my 2nd hygrometer (one for each humidor) and they both give the same info when swapped from one humidor to the other. Great item, dependable and can be switched from Fahrenheit to Celsius if desired. A best buy because it's inexpensive and does what it should.

Not much to review. Dropped it in my humidor and it adjusted itself in a short period of time. Quick readjustment after opening and closing.

This little hygrometer seems to be working ok I compared it to the ones I already have and it is accurate I believe I'll get a couple more.

Readings vary when compared to previously owned humidistat. Sometimes they are the same other times a few points off.

Simple....no calibrating! Comes with magnetic strips to attach in humidor. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a hygrometer, and at a great price!

I would suggest buying an analog hygrometer. Digital ones require batteries, and aren't any better at getting an accurate reading. Also, the screen is small, and difficult to read in direct sunlight due to glare. It is also difficult to read in low light due to the tiny screen.

The hygrometer is great it does exactly what's expected. The only issue is the numbers fade when actually placed into a humid environment. You can see the numbers but only at an angle

The Q&A section clearly states that this will work in the standard mounting hole in many humidors, but that is false. This hygrometer will NOT work if you attempt to place it in the mounting hole of your humidor. The intake vents are on the sides of the unit which would be blocked by the walls or lid of your humidor if it even fit there. I am disappointed because of the false information on the website. Now I have to return it. That said, it appears to be high quality as works well. It is not Humi-Care's fault that CI provided false info.

My husband loves cigars and typically smokes Acids, this year I went out on a limb and got him a box of 90 Noventa's for Christmas. He smoked his first one last night and he couldn't believe how much he liked it and even went as far as saying that they are the best he's ever smoked!

So far i really like the enhancement to the humidor. I bought it as a second as a cowitness to the built in analog that came with the humidor.

The hydrometer is nice and accurate and a convenient size but would be nice if a person could calibrate it just in case. For the price i expected a little more.

Traveling on the go it can be challenging to maintain proper conditions. Small and accurate it provides portability in my travel herfedor with accuracy in order to maintain conditions.

Comes ready to go. I bought it to verify my hygrometer reading which I thought was off. Pretty close readings and easy to install.

So far it is working as expected. Be careful with the initial soak. If you siak too long the beads will swell and explode out of the casing.

Compared to old reliable hygrometer this thing is 7% off. Temp reads the same as in house thermometer but humidity is 7% off. Not worth the trouble to return it, I won't buy another.

Buy 3 at cigarfest this year, first one out of box off by 6%, I even put in by Boveda calibration kit to test and also put another Hygromter in the same bag that I know was good. Still of by 6%. Which you could calibrate.

Analog hygrometers are classic, but ain’t nobody got time for that. This baby comes ready to rock by just pulling the plastic tab - set it to Celsius or Fahrenheit at the press of a button and you’ll know exactly what humidity level and temperature it is at any given time. Thank goodness for technology!

inaccurate by 6%. giving it a low rating because there is no way to calibrate it. it has a button to change F degrees to C degrees. when you activate the battery it automatically goes to Celsius, i had a very hard time getting it to go to fahrenheit. not recommended. get something else
