Very nice, smooth smoke. Even burn, nice taste the cognac infusion comes through in flavor which makes it a great smoke! I liked this one a lot!

I passed these out to my brother, cousin, and son-in-law, during Christmas. This was the best smoke I've had. We truly enjoyed this Cigar. Do yourself a favor and try this cigar.

These cigars are fine. However, the glass tubes in which they are packed did not keep them from drying out somewhat. Even upon arrival the wrappers on several of them loosened as I smoked them. The flavor is very good, but the dryness does affect the quality of the smoke. Unfortunately, when my shipment arrived two of the glass tubes were broken despite being in bubble wrap and in a box with shipping "popcorn" in the inner box and an outer box with airbags for padding. There was no damage to the other or inner boxes to indicate a crushing issue. The cigars in these tubes were cut by the glass in the middle. Thus, my Churchill cigars were stubby. I contacted customer service to alert them of the problem. The reply I received indicated that the information would be passed on, but I was disappointed that they did not offer to replace them. Whereas there was no crush damage to the boxes, I suspect the damage occurred in the warehouse before they were boxed. The four stars is given because of the dryness of the cigars and the lack of customer service on replacing the ruined cigars.

This Gurkha Private Reserve was above average, not as good as the Grand Reserve with Louis XIII infusion and certainly pales in comparison to my all time favorite GURKHA PLATINUM. Please get KH to bring it back.

An amazing smoke. The first smoke I had out of a glass tube. For the price on this site it is worth it.

The only thing that I can really say is that in my opinion the Gurkha Private Reserve Churchill-Maduro is simply one of the best cigars that I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying with an amazing taste, and great draw.

A cornucopia of wonderful flavors and aromas. Love the leathery texture of the leaf. Mmmmmm.

Few cigars are built and produce like the GPR. Every draw is undeniably special. One of the best "deals" I have found on a premium cigar in a long while. Wish it would warm up so I could smoke more of these. Love it!

They were very good but not as good as the Brown Waxed tubs. Very important to pack them so the glass will not break. Excellent customer service!!!!

Very comparable to the Maker's Mark Cigars, but I think these have a slight edge over those. I have zero complaints about these cigars. 5 star! Good draw, flavor, and good smoke that won't leave you spitting everywhere. Smoke so tasty you want to grab it out of the air, put it back in your mouth, and chew on it some more.

This is the best cigar that I've had so far and I've had some good ones. It was smooth to the end, I didn't want to put it out. I would definitely buy more in the future and you can't beat the deal.

After having these for a while I really enjoy the flavor of chewing on the stick prior to smoking. After lighting up, I have enjoyed this numerous times smoking it through until I couldn't hold it any more.

Bought the 30 pack to share with my nephew who just finished basic training. Smoked them with all they guys (and ladies) and everyone loved them. Gurkha hit a home run with these smokes.
