Gurkha Private Reserve Sale

After striking a massive closeout deal on these prizes, it's time for you to reap the benefits of staggering savings totaling $1,230!

There’s a door marked “Private.”

So go ahead....open it.

It’s impossible to know precisely what’s behind this portal of secrets, but I’ll give you a few clues. First, I can tell you that this premium handmade treasure hails from Gurkha, purveyor of some of the finest cigars on Earth. Next, I can tell you the blend is exclusive, and you’re not likely to encounter it ever again. Think of it like Gurkha Royal Reserve, a blend so rare and popular that I simply can’t keep it on the shelves.

The wrapper is maduro – dark, oily, exotic, enticing. And while only Kaizad Hansotia himself knows the secret filler blend, I can tell you that each cigar has been double infused with cognac, imparting a subtle and refined flavor profile. Presentation is everything, and each individual handmade has been sealed in tubos topped with melted gold wax. This is a collector’s item, for sure.

Great Cigars
I ordered these for my husband, he loves high end cigars. The cigars arrived with some broken, causing glass to shatter thru out the box and the other cigars sealed in wax. My husband called in, after speaking to a manager, they fixed the issue by sending out a new set. My husband loves these cigars and shares them with friends and family. Everyone has liked them so far. We would order these again.

The torpedoes are excellent!
When you pop the cap on the glass tube essence of congac wafts out to greet you. I'm no fan of cognac, but this cigar may have changed my mind! On the dry draw is a definite flavor of congac, wood, and leather. Great draw. Subtle hints of Remy, white pepper, cream, baking spices, leather, nuts, and a mild woodiness. Once you light this back up you will be hard pressed to smoke it slow. It really is that good. At nearly nine dollars a stick these are with every penny. This is coming from a regular Cuban cigar smoker. Great for a Friday night, special occasion, or any other event of significance. Not a every day cigar. These cigars are not cheap. But they are worth it!

Gurkha Private Reserve Torpedo-Maduro
Impressive cigar to offer to friends. Nothing special about it.

Another overpriced Gurkha gimmick.
Just like most Gurkhas, this is a completely overrated gimmicky cigar. Gurkha is all about fancy packaging and hype marketing, and this cigar is no exception. Now, it's not a bad cigar. But you can get cigars that are as good or better than this for a lot less. Maybe Gurkha should focus more on making better cigars and less on fancy boxes. I mean, individual glass tubes sealed with wax? Give me a break. I would rather pay for a great cigar that's just in plain old cellophane and a normal cedar box than pay for any more Gurkha gimmicks. That, and having a hundred different lines that mostly all taste the same. You could take 10 different Gurkha lines, take the bands off, and do a taste test, and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between them. I'm pretty much done with this overrated brand.

Smoooth and well balanced
This cigar is a delight to smoke! Velvety smooth, with great flavor and balance, well made and creatively packaged. I couldn't smoke just one, so am looking forward to having more!

Only had two so far...
Still waiting for the resting period in the humidor. But both of the ones I've were very smooth and full... Went well with Coffee and a Stout...

Never again
Inconsistent. Overpriced for what it is. Lacking flavor.

Waste of money if your looking for a good cognac cigar.
Loose rolled, burns up unevenly in about 20-25 minutes. No cognac flavor at all. Every cigar taste different than the last, but all lack cognac taste. The only cognac thing here is the aroma from the sponge inside the tube. Would never purchase these again.

Absolutely Fantastic Cigar at an Amazing price for what you get!
Best medium bodied cigar I have ever had! Smooth, nice burn without flavor loss all the way to the nub! Sweet and spicy and the g/f doesn't complain about kissing me afterwards!

Gurkha Private Reserve
Very good cigar. Well constructed and the flavor is subtle. Worth the money if you like cognac-flavored cigars.

Ghurka Reserve Torpedo
A smooth smoking cigar, but not as much flavor as I expected.
Customer Testimonials
Great cigar that you must try if you have not had a chance to try it yet. Rich in flavor as a good cigar should be. I say give it a try, you know you can't go wrong with a Gurkha.
Would not rate it a great cigar. A good cigar, but for the price, it should be a VERY Great cigar. The plastic (silly) dipped end has to go. I'm not interested in wrestling with the stuff to open it.
