To say we enjoy bourbon around these parts would be an understatement. So when I heard we were getting Gurkha Bourbon cigars, I nearly fell out of my chair. And they didn’t disappoint. A collaboration between Kentucky-based Hartfield & Co. and Gurkha, these premiums are the absolute pinnacle of cigar perfection.

Break the wax seal on these high-end glass tubes, and your nose will be immediately greeted with warm bourbon notes, and earthy cigar goodness. To make these cigars even more unique, each size comes with a different wrapper. The Toro features a silky smooth Connecticut Shade leaf that pairs up nicely with a rye-heavy pour. On the Churchill, you’ll find a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper that promises to be the perfect pairing for your favorite top-shelf booze.

I got five of these in a Gurkha sampler and I was excited given that I love cigars and bourbon, but I was kind of disappointed in this one. The cigar does taste like bourbon at first, but as you continue smoking it loses that taste and just becomes an average cigar. The quality of the wrapper and the easy draw is there, but there are just better cigars out there with the bourbon flavor.

When breaking the seal I don’t even want to cut and light this cigar, the aroma is so good. First received this cigar as a gift set with a pair of glasses. Have re-ordered multiple times since. It’s so good I wish I could purchase the bourbon to drink with it.

These cigars are one of my favorite cigars too smoke! The flavor makes you feel like you are smoking your desert. The bourbon taste is all sweet flavor without the alcohol punch. Ive never really had any difficulties with the pull. Definitely recommend

These are my absolute favorite Connecticut wrap cigars! Excellent flavor from these sticks, and being wax-sealed in glass tubes means you don't have to treat them in boveda bags for 2 or 3 weeks before you can enjoy them. Smooth mild flavor. I prefer Connecticut shade wrappers, and these Gurkha Bourbon Collection cigars have the best taste I've encoutered. Shortly after I discovered these, I found that they are difficult to find. I have spent a few months trying to acquire more. Perhaps absence makes the heart grow fonder, but I was finally able to just ordered more today! If you like Connecticut wrappers, and Bourbon barrel aged leaves, these are the tastiest.

This cigar was first gifted to me as a set with two Bourbon glasses and I’ve since repurchased. The unlit aroma when first opening it is remarkable. Once cut and lit, it has a smooth draw to go with the flavor. It burns evenly throughout. Definitely a go to smoke. Wish I could find a bottle of the bourbon.

So far I had been enjoying my Cigar order, however, I smoked one yesterday on Saturday, May 22, 2021 and it was very stale. It wouldn't stay lit and no matter how I tried to cut it, I had to drag on it very hard. I hope that was just a bad one in the batch.
