Graycliff Turbo Edicion Limitada

Graycliff + Turbo + Edicion Limitada = cigar-burning bliss.

First there was Graycliff Turbo. A full-bodied, full-flavored treat unlike any Graycliff handmade the world has seen. A roaring success, paving the way for an exclusive, high-end treat worthy of praise. Graycliff Turbo Edicion Limitada is here....for a limited time only.

Graycliff Turbo Edicion Limitada is a rare treat. The first Graycliff to boast Ecuador's famed Habano wrapper. This redolent wrapper is oily and thick, promoting an exceedingly rich and hearty influence throughout the slow burn. Underneath, a well-aged blend of Habano-seed long-fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras unite. After extensive post-roll aging, each Turbo EL unveils a deliciously complex bouquet layered by leather, oak, rich tobacco and a long, zesty finish with syrupy-sweet nuances. An amazing Graycliff experience.

First Time Try, Next Time Pass
Price, plus bonus pack of cigars was fine. But cigar was bitter, not smooth, and they burned very rapidly. I ordered 6x60, and could go through 2, and possibly 3 per hour.

Okay, you asked
Just snuffed out one of these and I must say, it was a pretty enjoyable experience. It burned completely down to where I could no longer hold it without a relight. The end cap stayed put despite my best efforts to salivate it off, which is notable. A good clean smoke with just the right volume of return on the effort enlisted. No bite at the end as more expensive brands sometime exhibit. Good flavor in a firm offering. And the "turbo" namesake, well it stayed between the lines without having to really watch the speedo!

Pleasant surprise
Hadn't been much a fan of Graycliff. Smoked quite a few of the yellow band G2's and thought they were too mild and flavorless. For me the yellow bands were off putting enough that I had no interest in trying the more expensive Graycliffs. Took a shot at a bundle of these on a sale. Am frankly surprised at how much I like them. Quite flavorful with a subtle sweetness and a leathery quality. Not overly strong or too mild. Perfect construction. Like em a lot. Did I say flavorful?

Save your money
weak draw and uneven burn, I have tried 6 and all are flaking and ash falls before as you draw in. the band is hard to remove and when you do, you find out that it was used to keep the cigar from unraveling, the remaining cigars are now fertilizer!

I'm a fan now!!
I'm a fan of great full flavored cigars at the working man's price. With that being said I'm a huge fan of PDR cigars, because of CI always have them on sale. I wanted to try something different and these beauties did not disappoint. Great construction, excellent burn, smooth transitions. What I like most is your palate feels clean after smoking. Will buy again

To much work
Super disappointed with this stick. I have had two at this point and both cracked on me and whatever you do don't pull off the wrapper. I am still waiting to taste it. Frankly it was to much work to smoke it and I put both out after the first 3rd. I'll let these sit in my humidor for another year to see if things change.

Outstanding flavor, balance, and pleasant smoking experience.
Superb flavor and balance, this Graycliff delivers a very pleasant smoking experience. Each cigar holds a good ash and produces glorious dense smoke. These are great for sharing with friends - they will be pleased and impressed. And for all this smoking goodness you can pick 'em up at a very good price. You can't go wrong - FIVE stars because these are in my top 10 faves.

Love these cigars!
Please don’t raise the prices CI. These smoke as good as any cigars I’ve ordered online. Perfect for any occasion, not overly mild but not too heavy. Such a smoking deal at this price- pun intended...

Great constant smoke
I have tried a number of your cigars the past year the Graycliff Turbo Edicion Limitada Toro is hands down my favorite. The smooth draw, taste, beautiful white ash, no after taste. Can kiss my wife and she does not know I had a smoke.

Great construction, flavor needs work.
I didnt like these as much as i expected to. I bought a sampler with one of these in it and was excited to try it after reading the overwhelmimgly positive reviews. The great positive is that these cigars are rolled perfectly! Great even burn, no cracking on the cap after I cut it and its easy to draw off of with a good amount of smoke produced as well. I didn't give it 5 stars because the flavor just fell a little flat for my taste. It's nothing special in terms of flavor, but have to give them credit for the construction.

My kind of cigar
I purchased 15 toro and it became my go to every day cigar. The burn is even, the taste is consistent through the cigar - not too strong not too mild, just as I like it. I recommend it.

This was a terrific cigar. I did note that having them in the humidor for a little while, about a week, seemed to help the flavors and aroma's. It burned perfectly and was the perfect cigar for me. So much so that I bought another round.

Turbo Edicion
I have only smoked two of the cigars both seemed to burn unevenly. The taste was good as is the case with the Graycliff cigar. Will have to try another to see how it burns.

The One
After sampling many other cigars This would be the one. If you could smoke only one cigar from now on, Graycliff Turbo would be it.

True believer
A friend of mine gave me one of these, while we were deployed in an undisclosed location. Getting good cigars was almost impossible. It was in my herfador waiting patiently for me, but being a good wingman, gave it to a airman in need. He said it was delicious, the best smoke he ever had. Now, he's a new cigar smoker, so I took it for what it was worth, but now I had to try it. I was able to get my hands on another from my friend. He took pity on me. All I can say is as I was smoking it, I was ordering a mazo. It's impossible to beat this smoke for the price.

Graycliff Turbo
I bought these in the past from CI but they went away. I was very happy to see them again and of course jumped on them and bought a bundle. Very smooth smoke which I put near the top of my list of excellent smokes. Keep'em in stock boys....

Customer Testimonials
“I bought the "Legal Limit 18-Cigar Sampler III" wanting to expand my palate into the Full strength cigars and thought I'd write a review from a novice's point of view. My first Graycliff, the 'Edicion Limitada' (Torpedo) is a nice full-bodied smoke without being over bearing. It has a great flavor that is lightly spiced from start to finish. looking forward to smoking another.
This is truly a full bodied cigar. A very heavy, voluminous smoke from the start and throughout. Great flavor with a hint of spice. Burned evenly and is well constructed. Now the quality is not quite up there with the finer, more expensive smokes, but a good cigar overall. Definitely not for the morning cigar but best paired with an aperitif
I've never been a big Graycliff fan. However, the Turbo Edicion Limitada is worth a try as this is priced reasonably and has a decent medium to full strength to it.
Wasn't sure what to expect from these but I decided to purchase a box after seeing these on one of the many CI deals that they're known for putting together. These are quite tasty. I gave them a little time in the humidor. These are attractive cigars with a decent draw. They're not my favorite but have earned a spot in my humidor as a consistent cigar that you know exactly what to expect from each one without getting a dud. There's a little bit if a construction issue in my opinion as the outer leaf seems to occasionally come apart but armed with that knowledge it's just a matter of treating it gently.
Ordering my second batch today. Great smoke and I didn't experience the wrapper problems mentioned by other reviewers.
The mazo of 20 for the price. Wow what a steal. while the burn is not pefect I can only gauge it off of the two I smoked tonight after receiving them in the mail.. After a few weeks or months in the humidor who knows. Classic Graycliff flavor. Smooth. Mellow. Creamy with a slight punch. Gorgeous. Reminiscent of the Avalino Lara 80th with an easier draw and a bit more back bone.First thoughts are .... I need to have a few more! Definitely worth the price times ten. Hang on taking a puff right now....if you are looking for a something to pare with a nice herbal meal and say a tumbler of rum.... cant think of a better cigar. Mango are these dogs good. Boom.... brought to you by the Kenjamin. Enjoy
Great tasting cigar, very nutty in flavor. Burns a long time.
Graycliff G2 Turbo EL Toro 2010 Batch - I've certainly had my share of Graycliff smokes over the years, always a nice change of pace. This cigar is no different. Perfect draw, a hint of nutmeg/allspice, very smooth, lots of smoke. Must say though, every one I've had is comprised of a very delicate wrapper. Found I could not tap this stick on the edge of an ashtray (to drop what is always a long white ash) without causing the wrapper to split. My humidors are fixed at 68% and I've had them split during aging. Even a punch cut has split the cap! Regardless, I've learned to handle with care and this cigar provides some awesome pleasure. Pairs perfect with an IPA - allows the Graycliff signature sweetness to come through.
Wow a great smoke from the first few puffs. The look and construction are very nice, I like mine dark brown. The flavors are very noticable but also complex. This cigar definitely changes each third starting with a little pepper, spice, and a hint sweet, to a very smooth middle, to a pepper and chocolate finish. It smoked cool, smooth, and fairly even. Will buy more of these and other Graycliffs. Excellent price/enjoyment value.
I recieved one of these in a mixed order several months ago. I threw it in the humidor and forgot about it. Being the it is July 4th I wanted to smoke something better then average and out of my normal rotation. This is a really good cigar. It's flavors are bold, the body is full, but it felt more like a medium smoke. In another review it was mentioned that the wrapper was delicate. I experience that, but it was on the smoking end so it did not distract from the cigar. I would give them a try. I was surprised and with the current sale will be pick some up.
Going to be ordering the 3rd mazo soon so that should tell you something. The only thing you need to be aware of on the down side is that the wrapper is somewhat delicate and will split if not careful. Other than that this is by far the best deal I have seen or heard of since the Louisiana Purchase. Great tasting, great burn, great cigar.
I am a BIG fan of the G2 Turbo, but they need to age a bit. This cigar however was awesome right off the truck. Paired with a bit of cognac, this Turbo EL was cigar bliss. Do not buy them, leave them for me please!
OK...the good and the bad in regards to this cigar: The good...I'd rank this right up the with any of the many real Cubans I've smoked, from start to finish it's a treat, consistantly melow with great flavours with a perfect balance. The bad...if your like me you'll blow through a mazo in a weekend, addicting, they are a limited edition (very bad news), and burnt fingers smoking the nub should be on a warning label.
I picked up one of these at the Bethlehem store the other day to give it a try. Matt told me they were really great and he was not kidding. Perfect construction with a shiny, oily wrapper and a "Cuban" aroma. The flavors were complex and the burn straight with a very nice draw. It was a very smooth medium to full bodied smoke with just the right amount of spice. The real bonus is the price. The Graycliff Turbo Edicion Limitada is worth much more.
WOW !!! This is a great cigar !!! I got 10 of these on a special and they are now on my top 3 list. Well constructed, perfect burn and flavor flavor flavor !!! Get them. If you like full bodied flavor and good deep character, GET THESE. I can't recommend them strongly enough.
Get them. Just do. You will not regret it. Full flavored and full bodied. VERY GOOD.

Graycliff Turbo Edicion Limitada 2010

With the exception of the G2 line, there is nary another Graycliff cigar available for under $10 or so.  Despite the hefty price tags we sell a ton of these top-dollar cigars in our retail stores, and there are a lot of loyal fans out there who aren’t afraid to pony up 12 to 22 bucks for these Bahama made delicacies.  Because of the steep prices on the premium lines of Graycliff cigars it prohibits most cigar enthusiasts from experiencing their greatness & their very unique flavor of quality and aged tobaccos.  The late Avelino Lara, the legendary creator of the Cuban Cohiba brand is the man that worked for Graycliff cigars for years, and he is personally responsible for almost all of Graycliff’s blends.  I’m sure Avelino himself would be very proud of the latest and greatest in the Graycliff Edicion Limitada line, and I believe it to be one of, if not the best Graycliff cigar to date.
We finally received these cigars in the downtown shop last week, and after waiting months for the cigars to properly age & ship in the factory I had them in my hands at last.  First impression of the cigars – flawless perfection - leathery, toothy, oily wrappers that are a beautiful dark brown with a slight reddish hue.  I was also pleasantly surprised to get a whiff of that “barnyard” aroma upon opening the mazo of 20 cigars.  For those of you familiar with that “barnyard aroma” of which I speak, then you know exactly what I’m talking about – for those of you that aren’t familiar, or haven’t heard anything about that “barnyard aroma” of very fine cigars (most often recognizable upon opening a box or mazo of cigars for the very first time) then let me fill you in on a little secret; When an unlit cigar smells like it just came out of a horse’s stable (or any other ‘pungent’ part of a barn) then that means that 99% of the time you’ve got an excellent, properly aged cigar that’s going to taste extremely good, and as a matter of fact, it will taste nothing at all like anything even remotely barnyard-like when it is fired up and enjoyed.
At this point I’m wide-eyed & salivating and I’m expecting a cigar of epic proportion…but along with that I’m also expecting a hefty price to pay when I ring myself up this limited edition Graycliff – after all I know that the retail price for a mazo of 20 toros is $320.00, but when I enter this cigar into the system I am shocked to see that these are nicely discounted, in true CI Fashion, and are on sale for ONLY $79.99 for a mazo of 20.  that’s less than 4 BUCKS per cigar.  OK, now I’m in for a whole mazo, and I haven’t even fired up the cigar yet.  Boy, am I a sucker for a great deal!
So now that I’ve just paid the bill for these brand-new cigars that I’ve been waiting months for, I cut and fire up the cigar with my newest toy – the Xikar Ultra Lighter/Cutter Combo – which I also just picked up for myself just days earlier.  This cigar’s draw had the perfect amount of resistance, and it fired up nice and even after roasting the foot for a few seconds.  I got tremendous amounts of flavor from the very first puff.  A little earth, well-aged, sweet Nicaraguan tobacco, a hint of caramel & a touch of leather on the palate.  Amazingly, this is one of the very few cigars I’ve ever had that started out with a complex array of flavors from the very first puff.  The cigar is not strong, I’d say it’s a little lighter than medium in strength, but it is packed with full-flavor goodness.  I could smoke this cigar first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee if I were in the mood for a full-flavored treat without the having to deal with the headiness & belly ache from a powerhouse like the Graycliff Espresso (not to mention that this cigar is $18 cheaper than a comparable size Espresso!!)
I’m about 1/3 of the way into this Turbo EL, and the ash just fell off gently into my Stinky ashtray.  It rests at the bottom in a big, solid light gray lump.  By this time the flavor has developed into a bit of spiciness along with that Nicaraguan sweetness, and the flavor continues to climb fuller & fuller without becoming strong.  This is such a perfectly balanced cigar that I’m surprised it’s not selling for much more.  At this point I’m telling everyone that walks through the door at the Downtown shop about this new gem of a cigar, and I’ve already sold through over half of a mazo.  I AM IMPRESSED! (and so are a lot of my friends/customers who took me up on this recommendation.  Joey B, from Wanaque, NJ tried one in the shop with me, and while enjoying it he noticed that we were getting low on them already so he picked up our very last mazo of 20 Toros.
Approaching the 2/3 point the flavor shifts to more earthiness with leather and some spice.  Not strong at all, but still all the while getting fuller and fuller in flavor, I’m enjoying this ever-changing cigar so much I forgot that I was writing about it.  So I’ll wrap it up and just say that this cigar was a finger-burning treat right down to the very last puff when I could barely hold onto the little stub it became.  This cigar is a gem.  At a measly 4 bucks per stick I’m shocked at the obviously superior tobaccos used, as well as the well-roundedness that only extensive aging can produce.  If I had factored the value of the cigar into the rating I gave it; it would have been a 96 or 97.  Dollar for dollar, this one can’t be beat.  And because it’s a limited edition cigar this is made in a one-production-run of this blend.  Try one today, and stock up NOW while they are available.  I know you’ve all heard it before from us, but this is the first time I’m saying it, “RUN, DON’T WALK!” and order now!
