For the sixth rendition of Las 6 Provincias, Erik Espinosa created a special blend to honor the Cuban region of Pinar Del Rio. The region is famous for its tobacco growing, and was thus dubbed the Zona De Tobaco, or ZDT. Not only is this a fine tribute to Cuba’s famous tobacco growing region, but the packaging is absolutely gorgeous, with the cigars coming in ornate painted ceramic jars.
The blend starts with a sweet and spicy Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler leaves beneath. The blend kicks off like a freight train, with plenty of spice to go around, and eventually opens up with sweetness, cedar, and floral notes. Espinosa really knocked it out of the park with this blend, so be sure to pick some up, we don’t know how long these babies will last.
