Dunhill Heritage

A transcendent nod to Dunhill’s past.

Where did Winston Churchill and King George VI buy their cigars? Dunhill. The name is legendary and their cigars are among the most sought after and respected in the industry. With their newest release, Dunhill Heritage, the company celebrates their hard earned status and pays homage to Cuban heritage.

Dunhill Heritage is the 1st full-bodied cigar from the prestigious brand, and it doesn’t disappoint. Coming draped in an Ecuadoran Habano ligero wrapper, with a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder and a mix of long-fillers from Ometepe and Esteli, Nicaragua and the Jamastran Valley, Honduras, this tasty treat is a bona fide flavor bomb. Hearty essences of spice and pepper hit the palate upon lighting before flavors of graham cracker, cocoa, coffee, and cedar settle in. Don’t miss your chance to try this exquisite full-bodied cigar from a legendary brand.

Dunhill Heritage received Top 25 honors for 2015 and an impressive 93-rating noting: "covered in an Ecuadoran Habano wrapper, the rest of this cigar is full of meaty, peppery Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco."

heritage is lasting and proud
i just had my faith strengthened in a product! i have had such a wonderful experience with this little bombshell of a cigar! this box-pressed beauty is gem to both the eye and the palate! it was a glory in its wrapper and construction; even burn and nice tight ash as it continued in it destiny to please and leave a long-lasting pleasurable memory. it had a pepper and cedar finish that made my tongue wish it were longer to capture even more of its tasty quality. this cigar was powerful in it buzz as a special-ops sniper's bullet. this is at the top of the low end of the drug spectrum and some may feel a trip to colorado may easily be put off to sample that state's newest organic delight. it is a smoke that offers a bold blast that will not disappoint those that revere such a cigar. i cannot find anything that might provoke anyone to object to this configuration of the cigar-makers' craft, other than in the last quarter of burn a bit of bitterness may be noticed in the cap,but with a quick purge or two lessens or alleviates it altogether. do yourself a favour and put this in your rotation for those days when a good,old-fashioned manly, singular pleasure is your due!

Normally Dunhill's are more on the medium strength but the Heritage is fuller body but with the quality you expect from a Dunhill. Look forward to smoking another one soon.

Great smoke for the price point!
Believe me this little gem packs huge flavor, yet doesn't break the bank.

Disappointing considering Top 25 ranking
I've been sampling many of the 2015 Top 25, and this was one of them. As far as flavor and complexity, no issues. But the first 2 of the 5 I bought had intolerable burn and draw issues. They both burnt unevenly and had to be relit several times, and they seemed to have been rolled way too tight, I could barely get anything out of them. When I did the ywere ok, but in my opinion they're not even close to being a Top 25 cigar. INMHO try the Patel Habano or the Sublimes, much greater value and overall performance.

Disappointing considering the rating
Bought a 5-pack after seeing the top 25 rating. Decent taste, complex and unique as one reviewer said, but the first 2 I smoked were too tight and would not stay lit. I think I re-lit the 2nd one 20 times. There are too many good cigars out there for me to take another chance with these.

Dunhill Heritage Robusto Review....
The Dunhill HR is a powerhouse living up to it's name; ROBUSTO! Yes it is extremely robust. Be ready for a swift kick in the backside after your first 10 or so draws on this fine cigar. The Dunhill brand is well established as a "no nonsense" tobacco company serving the world's elite classes since 1907. The HR is yet another example to this great heritage. But don't be fooled by the pomp of the illustrious history becuase this stogie requires a well developed and sturdy habbit before taking it on. Happy smoke-trails.

Excellent Smoke
A pleasant surprise from Dunhill. Saw it in the top 25 and figured I'd give it a try. 2 boxes later I am hooked.

Excellent, medium sweet and earthy, rich, dark tobacco tastes with mild spice. Surprising transitions and more complexity than expected. Not as strong as advertised, being medium to medium+ in strength. AND it tastes original, not a knockoff of another cigar!
