CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Macanudo

I am a long time customer of Cigars International and A smoke Aficionado. The rolling is pretty good. The wrapper is little bit thin. The filler is good but it's needs more time in the barn it's a little bit of green. But it's a delicate cigars and I love it. I love CI and I'm not going stop placing an order with these guys. They provide a nice cigars for a reasonable price.

Very mild, like Macanudos and burned surprisingly well for such a moderately priced cigar.

They smoked well

Taste and production of smoke are identical to the Mac. I've never written a review before. But these are still surprising me each time. Construction is weak but that is to be expected for this price.

They are not a great stogie. Possibly remnants of a worm in one yesterday. My Wife even commented that they don’t smell as good as the Rosadas that I normally buy. I probably won’t buy them again.

Not bad

Not a bad cigar, but not like Macanudo’s. Also, the last 3 CI knockoffs I’ve ordered (coffee, Irish cream) and now these, many come unwrapped as I smoke them. I feel like I’ve bought and smoked enough CI knockoffs for this to be a fair review.

Love these so much. I always keep them stocked in my humidor. They are almost always perfect. I’ve had the occasional batch that was too dry or wet from the knock offs but at these prices who cares about a little attrition. They are my faves. I like the Macanudos, Cohibas, and Montecristos.

Good smoke from lit up to last draw!!

The knock offs have a thin wrapper but they are much better tasting than the mac’s and they burn very well they are my favorite coffee infused cigar much better than the macanudo, even the mouth feel is better than the mac’s

Very nice blend of Cigar, well worth the price point.

Flavor was good but it burned too fast. I usually get a Churchill to last at least 9 holes of golf. These were done by 5 holes.

They are all right for the price---there were some that would not draw--but most were a fair smoke!!!

The cigar is a solid choice for an everyday smoke. My girlfriend says she does not like the smell of these. I did though, the draw was easy and it remained lite for the whole smoke.

So close to the real thing. I enjoy these Knock-Offs.

I am smoking one of the CI Macanudo knock offs as I write this review. The draw, the puffs of smoke, the ease of lighting, and everything else about the cigar is truly magnificent, and worthy of calling them Macanudo! The price of the cigars is outstanding compared to the quality that one receives. I am seriously considering ordering another bundles once I finish this first order. I don’t think that anyone can go wrong with this offer from Cigars international.

Wow, I was impressed by these mild smokes. They were fresh and pleasant to light up with nice draws. I will buy these again. My smoking friends all felt the same.

These are outstanding cigars with a very smooth aroma and smokability.

Not to bad for a knock off. Good for around the golf course or watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee.

Nice "TV" Viewing" cigar, most burn well, but make sure you keep them moist, if not the outer wrapper can peel. I would buy them again.

I have smoked all of them. They were very good cigars, and I will buy more. The cigars burned evenly and stayed lit. Smoke to the last inch before they felt a little hot. Wrappers held up.

Good cigar for the money

Lot better than I expected and was pleasantly surprised. These cigars were closer to macanudo cigars then any I’ve ever smoked. They may not have a perfect construction or appearance but the taste is close to spot on. In fact I ordered a second bundle and liked them better then the manowar I got in one of your bundle deals.

They were so good, I ordered another 40. But they are not here yet and I ordered them last Tuesday. Mikes Cigars get me my orders in three days. CI does sometimes and other times it is like this. Very, very smooth smoke. They can be a bit 'spongy' but that doesn't effect the experience. These are my 'go to' cigars

all the knock-offs are worth the money.

Picked up a bundle of these recently on a promo. Tried one just after they arrived and it was disappointing. Let them rest in my humidor for several weeks and tried another, and it was great. Moral of the story is "be patient" you will be rewarded.

Nothing to write home about, but a pretty decent go to. Macanudo quality is a mile away from these sticks. But for the price you won't mind. They deliver rich and mild Connecticut puffing that will make you smile you bought them so cheaply!

Draw is pretty good and they are tasty but construction is lengthwise. They have a tendency to burn down one side instead of evenly.

I really find CI knock-offs extremely good smokes and recommend them to all my friends. its a cigar i can actually smoke without feeling guilty about what i paid for it . thank you CI .

Very smooth well made. Mild and great for outdoor relaxing.

They were not the best tasting ones honestly, however they are a good daily smoker. I pulled 10 out of the bundle and threw them in a ziplock bag with a hot sauce container filled with brandy soaked cotton balls. Marinated for about 10 days and BAM!!!!

Very good in taste, very good to smoke the size is perfect to relax in the yard and enjoy the cigar.

These Macanudo Knock Offs are fantastic. I enjoyed a Macanudo Inspirado Silver while traveling on business on a Thursday. Then tried the CI Knock-Off on a Saturday. In my opinion there was hardly a difference. I am not a seasoned cigar aficionado. For me the CI Knock-Offs Macanudo is a great smoke.

It’s not comparable to Macanudo Café Hyde Park. It’s similar but it’s lacking those key notes of rich cream and nuttiness that makes you want to go back for a Macanudo again and again. Overall for what it is, it’s a good buy. Go into it expecting a decent everyday smoke with nothing fascinating and you’ll be pleased. Thanks boys.

Good reasonably priced smoke. Sometimes the draw is a bit hard but that’s always the case with the occasional hand made.

Uhhh, maybe I missed the “mixed fillers” part of the description but I thought they long filler cigars. There not bad but maybe I spoiled myself with other premium offerings. If others of you purchase “Knock-Offs”, use a punch and not a cutter and save yourself the aggravation of spitting bits of tobacco while trying to enjoy the smoke. There not bad but I won’t be buying more.

Ben smoking these cigars for over 20 years great mild smoke. Dominican are my tobacco of choice.

I enjoy these cigars. They were purchased to accompany me on the golf course. No big deal if I misplace or lose one. They are a slow burner and will last me a couple of hours. I plan to buy more in the future.

Excellent flavor for the money. Mostly smoke these while playing golf. Only issue with this batch was more than half of them so far has a very very tight roll. Very hard draw trying to smoke them. Not all, but at least half at this point. Would buy again for the money however !!

Never had a Macanudo Inspirato green, but I have friends who really love them. I also heard from a friend that the CI Knockoffs are a pretty good representation of the real thing. I have had only one of the bundle so far, but it tasted great. I don't recognize flavor notes, so all I can say is that I liked it. My only consternation was that they languished in my city for over a week before delivery. They were, however, delivered within the timeframe specified on the order. I will get more of these. Maybe next time a different clone.

Shipping was great. It’s a good smoke but the first layer of the leaf wrapper on at least two of the them cracked and came off. I keep my humidor at 70. Price is great.

Fantastic cigar! This is the 4 order, they actually remind me of Arturo Fuente's Curly Head (naturals) mixes with Macanudo's Gold Label. I have only had an issue with a few (3 cigars out of 80) being blocked or rolled too tight. Mostly an easy draw, hints of coffee, espresso, slight chocolate, and some smoked nut with a nice punch. Not really a good knock-off as advertised

These are knock offs so let’s just consider that. They are a decent smoke, pretty smooth. The burn was a little off kilter but not a big deal to me. Overall a good smoke but because I have a hard time spending a lot of money on a few cigars these work for me.

Good taste but the roll is irratic causing draw problems. This is not on every cigar and the price made it easier to put up with.

Overall these are good cigars. I bought Churchills and the binding/rolling tends to be a little loose, I keep getting bits of tobacco in my mouth, but this is minor given these cigars have a good draw and taste. Not too strong but flavorful. This bundle is a great value and well worth the purchase. I am a satisfied smoker.
