CI 'Brown Bag' Sampler

I find the saying "you get what you pay for" over used but pretty true! Therefore my expectations were pretty low however I have been pleasantly surprised by most of the cigars in this sampler!

Smooth good tasting cigars without a big price tag

Variety is the spice of life, and variety is what you get with the Brown Bag Sample. You never know what you're going to get, but it's going to be good. You're not going to see anything super expensive, but you WILL see highly rated cigars at a great price. The Brown Bag Sampler is one of my favorite ways to buy cigars.

Not bad for the money

Great way to try things you might not order because you have no idea if it might be a waste of casholla. I haven't had a bad one yet, although Ive just ordered one.. but I think I will make it a regular thang, as sometimes I feel adventurous and hope to find that perfect stogie in the sea of possibilities.

Cigars were minimal quality. Very dry. Only 1 real good one.

The BBS was a pleasant surprise. It included some cigars with which I am not familiar, so it helped to broaden my horizon a bit. If the budget is running a bit thin (or even if you just want to try something new), this is a great option. I will definitely buy this sampler again.

Great variety of cigars if you are looking to get into cigar smoking. I have only made it through about half of them so far and haven't had a bad one yet.

This sampler is a great starter pack for beginners and can even function as a humidor-filler if need be! Solid draw, flavors are OK, and construction is good. Can't beat it for the money!

I got this sampler to tide me over to keep from digging in to my stash of cigars I am aging. These are all good quality cigars, mostly from well-known manufacturers, and several Churchill sized. Similar to what is pictured. There was no bargain-basement stuff in there. Your selection may vary, but I was surprised to get an enormous Gurkha Shaggy Imperial Presidente. Thing is like a riot baton. Well worth the money overall, may well get this sampler again at this price point.

I've bought two brown bag samplers over the last two weeks and was disappointed to find out I received the EXACT same cigars in the second batch as I did in the first. As far as the choices, there was only one I was unfond of. The rest are superb

New to Cigars Like the variety that I got Hope the next bag will have different cigar brands in it to try

Whether you're a new cigar enthusiast and you don't yet really know what you like, or you know what you like and you've been smoking pretty much just that for a long time, we all owe it to ourselves to try new things and broaden our experience. But of course most of us either can't or just don't want to sink a lot of money into an unknown just to see if they like it, so here is where samplers come into play, and for variety the Brown Bag gives you the most bang for your buck. You won't get a Macanudo or a Cohiba (that's the Chosen One Sampler - a good deal for sure, but too rich for my blood), but for chump change you'll probably enjoy most of these and won't hate any of them. Keep a cigar journal though, so that you'll remember later what you like or dislike about everything you try.

As a beginner I'm enjoying sampling sticks I probably wouldn't purchase. A few had wrapper and burn issues, but I'm guessing letting them sit in the hummi a little longer may help. Otherwise I will purchase again.

Worth what is paid, but there were a couple i didn't care for.

I tried my first BBS last month. I like it so well I've put it on automatic reorder. I will be getting it every 2 weeks. 50% great cigars, 40% pretty good cigars, All very smoke-able.

Most of the cigars were delicious, and there were some I wouldn't have tried if it weren't for the sampler.

I was very satisfied when I received my sampler pack. I had a question about this product and customer service was very knowledgeable and helpful. I will be purchasing from CI again in the future.

Don't expect this to be all fresh and premium smokes. However, there are enough good to make up for the crummy ones. Overall, I would recommend it! The price is right, and you WILL get some good smokes!

Just got the "Brown Bag Sampler" and have enjoyed each of the sticks that I've tried. Great way to test for new (to me) smokes! Not too pricey and really enjoyable for a new cigar smoker!

6 of the 10 were good to premium cigars that I like. The other 4 were lower end cigars I had never tried before, but I've smoke 2 of them already (saving the better ones for later) and was pleasantly surprised. They weren't complex and were on the mild end, but they did have a smooth taste and burned fairly well. Overall, I give this 4 out of 5 stars.

First, I want to say the service was timely and arrived in good condition. I originally tried this sampler to be introduced to different brands outside of my norm. Out of the bunch received only one stick can I say I was not pleased with. Gurkha, a male I had not previously tried, in particular the shabby foot monicker. Construction or lack thereof created some issues with an even burn. Flavor profile was one that was tough to finish. Tasted of dried leaves. Also to note, a number of times relighting this stick was necessary. Several more to go but outside of one bad apple I am very pleased with the batch!

I bought these for my husband and he was very excited when he received the cigars because there was quite a variety of great brands. One thing that he did mention however was that many of the cigars were on the stale side and I know for a fact that he put them right in his humidor.

I guess you get what you pay for. While they aren't horrible, I wouldn't say these cigars are top notch or really even good. I've had a few that no matter if it's cut or punched, it just won't smoke right. Really disappointing

At this price and the quality of the smokes I have to give this 5 stars. Granted none will ever be "cigar of the year" but I was very happy with my little bag of bag of treats. Some of these I already liked plus I was able to try a few smokes I never did before and none were disappointing. You wont be getting top shelf sticks with this but the purchase was well worth it and I will toss it into my orders from time to time.

I purchase these all frequently. You get some amazing cigars to try. All are quality long filler cigars. They range from mild to full flavor. They have introduced me to many cigars that are not available in singles. Try one you won't be disappointed.

The stick selection in the sampler was okay for someone like myself, a novice smoker. However, I'm not brand new to what a good stick taste like and I think after this sampler I will spend a few more bucks so I can really enjoy more than 2-3 sticks. Overall, its a good sampler to share for the price.

I get these every now and then. There's a whole ranges of quality sticks, though not so much on the lower end. I always have a few top drawer smokes. I also like to sample brands without buying more than one.

CI Brown Bag Sampler was very nice some well chosen cigars.

Really good as an introductory package. I'm inexperienced with cigars and have certainly not smoked every one in the pack yet. I would suggest that this product come with a packing list with brand, model, and flavor profile. I went back through the catalog and website to research what I had gotten so I can properly record my experiences with each.

I have only smoked two of the cigars so far. The first one I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to the brand. The second was called Cream and it was terrible. It had a sugar infused wrapper I could taste as soon as I put it in my mouth. No serious cigar smoker wants that. It was clearly used to cover the poor quality of the tobacco. Smoking it was a lousy experience.

Surprise! The selection of cigars was fun to explore and taste. This is well worth the price and I found a new favorite that I immediately purchased a bundle of at the store in Hamburg, PA. I'll buy this again.

I couldn't have been more impressed with the selection of the Brown Bag sampler. Plenty of mild to medium flavors cigars. Fewer full flavored cigars, but I only smoke fuller flavored cigars on occasion. I'll be a brown bag customer for life now.

See that picture? You can definitely expect a bunch of those. 8 of the 10 I got are in that photo. Not all that surprised or blown away by what I got. Not a bad deal at all. It's a nice sample, never know when you're gonna find a new favorite. I'd say get two if you haven't had any from the picture before. Not too fair to give a cigar one chance ;)

It much better than the brown bag I got as a child on field trips. A must try!

The selection was good and all but it would be better if they came humidified. Sometimes ive seen from various websites how they come with a humidificatiin pouch or a little boveda pack to make sure they came ready to go but these came in with just the bag. In Fact, ine of the cigars had a cracked wrapper. Luckily the binder held pretty good but humidification would be nice. Great servoce and fast shipping over all im happy with my purchase. Its just that little issue

I bought this brown bag to try some new cigars. I received a good assortment of different strengths. I looked up every cigar I received to see what character each one had. They were all very well rated by reviewers. I have tried a few and so far there was only one that I did not like. I actually bought a box of one of the ones I really liked. I will buy this again for the same reason. This brown bag is well worth the money. I recommend this highly for a chance to try some new cigars. So far some really good cigars that have already covered the price of the whole bag and I still have about 5 or 6 to try.

the second time was a charm. Many name brands.. no duds,, 75 % boutique sticks.. maybe I was lucky so I will order again and take a shot at filling up the every day smoke humidor dirt cheaply.

Good value for decent everyday smoking. I did not care for the Connecticut offerings.

Received my BB Sampler today and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection at least a $100 worth of sticks in a variety of sizes and shapes. Only 1 out of the 9 that I wouldn't smoke but will be good as a giveaway stick. The rest are all top notch brand name sticks.

You can't beat this price to sample some really good cigars

I tend to smoke $7-$15 sticks but wanted some to enjoy during a round of golf or with a cup of coffee. I also wanted cigars of different smoke time. These were exactly what I got. The only reason I gave four stars is to make sure you are aware they are not premium sticks.

Most the product was great. Two cigars were damaged but it happens. Happy with it non the less and will shop again

I wanted to give 5 stars, but unfortunately I could not. You see, 8 of the 10 cigars were in prestine condition and the other 2 were coming unraveled. The odd men out were dry and weathered as if they were going to be discarded. All that being said, I appreciated the smoke on budget. Here's to 80% not bad for the price.

I received the 'Brown Bag' Sampler the other week before I went on vacation. I must say it had some great brands like Rocky Patel, Gurkha, Gran Habano, and 5 Vegas, among other cigars I hadn't tried before. If you like to try a variety of cigars at a cheap price this is the way to go!

I have not smoked all of them yet, The Argonnese was smooth and my wife said it smelled like peanut butter when it burned. The Nica Libre was very nice too. It was not overly harsh towards the end and had an even steady burn. Never went out.

Some Great Smokes in this Brown Bag!!! I was very happy after opening up the shipping box.

I got a decent bundle for the price I paid. There were a couple of nice sticks and a handful of mediocre/budget sticks in the shipment. Cigars seemed to be in okay condition though I thought they could have been packaged better. Not a bad buy if you're looking to try out some different options but don't expect a bag full of boutique brands.

Great selection of quality smokes. Not a single dog rocket in the bag. I've only had a few, but all have been excellent and well worth the money. Several of the labels are going into my "Order in the future" box. Don't know how CI can pack this quality in a bag and cover it with this pricing, but I'll continue to take advantage of it.

I've been standoffish for a while on the Brown Bag Sampler. Like most people, I don't like paying for something I may not like. I should have done this sooner! In the sampler I found cigars I already like, and some I've not tried. All of them were really good! I will definitely do this again.

Most where pretty good. Had a problem with 4 out of the package cracking and unraveling. I called, and of course the they blamed it on my humidor. They asked what humidity I am holding and I told them 70. They said that was to high. And another thing they said is that I should have had them in my humidor for a minimum of two weeks before I smoke them. Funny, I have never heard of that. Oh well I got what I paid for, will I order it again? Yes, its still a pretty good value and I enjoyed most of the cigars. All in all Cigar International is a pretty good deal.

The brown bag sampler is filled with good cigars and is great for beginners to try different cigars but it has mild cigars in it and I'm typically a full bodied kinda person. I recommend to CI to make brown bag samplers with different body styles. Ex: (medium-full body brown bag)

Cigars OK for the novice smoker

Man great deal if you add up the cigars you get price wise you might as well be reaching into there pocket because you are getting a steal. Every one of my favorite cigars came in this pack and in great shape.

I have not smoked them all...yet, however the two that I have smoked were friggin' delicious. The Argonese was perfect and burned smooth. My wife says it smelled like peanut butter when it burned. I also smoked the Nica Libre, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It really started burning hot towards the end tasted funny, but it was just the heat. Great BATCH! Thank You So Much!

I thought the few that I have smoked so far are a bit dry. I put them in my humidor to try and bring them back a bit.
