As a member of the Crafted and Curated line, the Caldwell Montrose was created by altering the Long Live the King blend, changing both the wrapper leaf and one of the filler leaves. Similar to the other members of the Crafted and Curated series, these cigars come out of Ventura’s El Maestro factory in the Dominican Republic.
The blend begins with the same innards as the Long Live the King, but with one of the Corojo filler leaves switched out with a Dominican Aromatico leaf. A Dominican Corojo leaf binds them, with a dark Nicaraguan Habano wrapper to top it all off. Roasted nuts, grain, baking spices, and cedar combine forces to envelop the palate and excite the senses.
