Not a king or an emperor, a liberator!

To pay homage to the great Simon Bolivar, Forged Cigar Co. wanted to create a cigar that encapsulates the spirit of the first president of the Republica de Colombia! From this desire, the Bolivar Gran Republica was born!

The blend is a four-country cocktail, with filler leaves from Brazil, Colombia, and Nicaragua. The binder is a Brazilian Arapiraca leaf, and the cigar is wrapped in oily Ecuadorian Habano goodness. Notes of pepper, spice, cedar, and creaminess all coat the palate, and make a perfect tribute to Central and South America’s greatest liberator!

Superb construction with an open draw. The smoke is silky smooth, dense, chewy, and flavorful. I smoked one 24 hours after delivery and it was great. These will age very well. Medium bodied cigar that embodies a relaxing meditative experience. It ashes well, smells great, no bitterness, and has notes of earth, chocolate, with hints of caramel, and faint spice. Excellent.
