This is a very economical v-cutter. I bought it for my husband and he absolutely loves it. Though it is small and very reasonable in price, he says it's all you need! I recommend this little gem!

Nice box size. Easy on the fingers. The device works well so far. Time will tell concerning the blade’s edge. I will need to get back to you on the cutter’s longevity.

V cut still has tobacco residue that leaves pieces in my mouth during smoke.

It's certainly a funny thing. And what can be for a penny. In any case, it's better than gnawing your teeth.

I expected a deeper cut, and it is a little awkward to use. The draw was acceptable and the cigar tip held up nicely.

Pro's: It makes a neat little bird's mouth cut in the back of your average cigar. Con's: It has sharp corners. It is tiny. It has a very small mouth. It is not for arthritic hands. Over all, it does what it is supposed to and is inexpensive.

I lost my home made plug cutters in a house move, so I tried this and found I liked it. The CI plug cutters are too large in diameter for my taste. I will say that the blade had to be stoned and honed to make a clean cut, after which it worked well, and made a cut without ragged edges.

It is a simple cutter that works. It will pinch you if you’re not careful.

Works fine for small ring sticks, but the opening is not deep enough and only scratches the larger ones. But hey, it's only two bucks so I'm not complaining

Perfect as expected

Never smoked a cigar with a V-notch cut. So wanted to try it. This is inexpensive but does the job. Cut is not real clean, but, because it’s a “V”, does not cause the wrapper to unravel. Overall, quality is commensurate with the price of the item.

It’s ok

This is a decent v-cut for the price, might have to use it twice to get the cut just the way I like it. I have used it on some "Beefy" cigars and I had that fleeting thought that it might break but old and behold it powered through.

A little smaller than I it looks on the site but functions as it should.

I didn't realize that it was such a tiny cutter but hey, it works just fine. Keep the ring guage below 50.

Look. I am not going to extol the materials or craftsmanship of this nifty little cutter. It’s a cheaply made, plastic gizmo that runs less than two bucks. You get what you pay for, and what you get with this cutter is a decent V cut. And you know what? The cigar doesn’t know or care if you cut it with a $50 cutter or this thing. It does the job it was designed to do and does it well, although admittedly it isn’t going to impress anyone. So, if you are looking for something that is highly functional although a bit on the rinky dinky side, you can’t go wrong with this item. Personally, I lliked the idea of using the savings I realized on this this cutter to the great selection of terrific cigars that Cigars International offers. Frankly, anything else smacks of over compensating, if you get my drift, and I think you do. Steve M.

Inexpensive and makes a clean cut. Pulling on the plunger allows it to be removed easily and the blade has plenty of extra meat on it so sharpening should be fairly easy making this cutter last a long time.

At first, I wasn't sure what to make of this thing. It was too small to really be useful, but boy was I wrong! It can be used for any ring gauge, as long as the cigar isn't too dry, and you apply some mild pressure. A perfect "cat's eye" every time! This ensures a good draw!!! Luv it!!!

Cheap but does the job

The cuts it produces are decent, and I find V cuts tend to work very well. However, the debris afterwords tends to fall into this cutter's shell, since it's basically a big empty box.

It's to small

The finger v cutter is too small. I used it once and found it to be flimsy. I won't ne using this too much because of the size if my cigars which are too big for such a small cutter.

This cutter tears the cap. I don't enjoy tobacco in my mouth. I prefer a clean cut from a cutter or a clean hole from a punch. This cutter didn't work for me.

For the price, I couldn't complain too much but if you are planning on it being anything much more than a "get me by in an extreme emergency" kinda cutter....don't bother. It's a cheapie. Spend the extra money for a nice one that will last.

It does its job, nice cut, but the cut isn't deep enough. Almost as deep as a punch not as wide as a guillotine cut. Perfect for ther office, though!

This was the first v cut I have owned and not quite sure at first how I felt about but now i see it helps to hold tobacco wrapper together better than the full chop style, still gets plenty smoke too

Got Cohibas n Montechristos for cigars. This cutter is too small for any large ring cigars. Will barely make slice in the end.

I wanted to try the v-cut and this investment made it an easy trial.

For how cheap this thing is i put a cigar in and without any trouble it produced a nice clean v shaped cut. You cant beat the price. Sure it lacks that expensive feel and look but it doesnt need the bells and whistles to work like a charm.
