A divine new blend for the Ave Maria arsenal.
Divinia. Cigar making at its finest. Only by holding one in your hand will you truly appreciate the magnitude of what’s been accomplished. By now, it is no secret that the Ave portfolio is ripe with some of the most enticing blends on the planet. Now, with the release of Ave Maria Divinia, a new standard has been set.
With this offering, a lush, Habano Sun Grown wrapper encases a bold, ultra-refined core of Cuban-seed long-fillers. A Cuban-esque flavor profile dominated by notes of black pepper, cocoa, coffee, earth, and nutty sweetness, is delivered in a silky medium to full-bodied profile. Simply incredible…and stunningly presented in individual coffins.
A beautiful cigar in construction and presentation. It has one of the most beautiful labels in the cigar industry. The taste is great and fits the description. Great cigar.
It's hard to properly judge a cigar's virtues with just one stogie, but that is the position I am currently faced with Ave Maria Divinia. The 2nd log I have sparked up from The Chosen Few Sampler. Six of AJ Fernandez's mega blends, all with hefty price tags, much ado & appropriately based lineages. Rage was very nice, complex, full bodied & difficult to nail down in the 2 hours I smoked the vitola. Divinia is a creamy smooth, medium bodied, box pressed stick that is heavy, perfectly constructed & alive with complex flavors. Mild spices, medium leather & fully changing waves of cashews, caramel & sweet peat, accompanied by floral notes. One beef I have is the size & number of bands it has. They look great, but the smaller one peeled off a section of the wrapper leaf & the big-un was in the way & had to be removed before lighting. Oh, & they normally cost about 15 simoleans per spleef. Thanks to CI, I have only $5.50 invested in this wonderful example of the higher blending arts. Now I can afford to sock away a few of these for a rainy day or special occasion. Also I can give them a better, more thorough examination & review after having partaken of at least a fiver. For now, let's just say Ave Maria Divinia is awesome! Go for a 4-pack if you have the means, or try them for much less in the above mentioned sampler. Even mild smokers should find this blend enchanting & a good, if too expensive window into the world of more robust & full bodied cigars.
I got these on the pre-release deal and it was definitely worth it! If you like Ave Maria`s, try `em out! they are definitely a great smoke! They will not disappoint!
Divina was my first Ave Maria I smoked. It was an excellent cigar and I enjoyed every puff. Right after, I ordered a box of Lionheart. I hope they are as good as Divina.
