A bit stronger than I anticipated. I noted a fairly comlex blend of flavors in different sections of the cigar which made smoking them an adventure. Very enjoyable.

The decade is a nice medium smoke but the me a more is great after you age it 6 months plus. I've had this before and had to re up This sampler because it's a good value

I have smoked very few Rocky Patel's before, and unfortunately when I did they seemed to be more hype than delivering the goods. Have to say this Rocky Patel Decade was an excellent smoke down to the nub. Looking to buy again and soon. Always enjoy any sized Mi Amor from La Aroma de Cuba, this batch did not disappoint. Love that they bundled these two together!

Such a great deal. I go back to this sampler often, just to keep stock. Both cigars are a delightfully medium smoke, neither is overly peppery. Both are complex and full of body, but remain smooth throughout. I find the Mi Amor to be a be more bold, but still very pleasing. The Decade is such a solid option. You can't go wrong with this sampler.

The Ricky Patel’s were both excellent. Great medium/ Full flavor. Decade was consistent throughout and the Edge starts rich and spicy, the second third is a bit more mild and breathes effortlessly. Then it finishes with a mellowed pepper.

I always get this sampler,and give it as gifts to my friends. The La Aroma de Cuba is my favorite ,a very smooth and tastefull smoke. The only reason this is not a 5 star is the RP Decade. This is a great cigar as well until you get the one that doesn't smoke well ,and it seems about 2 out of the 5 are that way. But otherwise highly recommend this sampler.carpe diem

RP Decades are excellent. Nice draw and flavor. La Aroma likewise but the first one must have had a little extra ligero because it kicked my butt for a while.

Mi Amor is my favorite but both are memorable.

There are lots of cigars that I like but the Rocky Decade and the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor are near the top of the list. I can always count on the Rocky Decade to be a consistently great full flavored smoke and the Mi Amor always produces a thick rich smoke with a nice nutty flavor. Cigars always arrive fresh and in good condition. In short, if somebody told me that I had to smoke nothing but these two for the rest of my life, I'd be OK with that.

These two brands of cigars never disappoint. Not too mild, not too harsh... they're the Goldilocks of the cigar world.

RP Decade were very enjoyable but the La Aroma de Cuba are definitely not worthy of the 95 rating it received. Very hot burn and tongue bite for the majority of the smoke.

Love this combo I ordered two so I got 10 decades and 10 Amor for 90 bucks half a box each great deal. Both are smooth middle strength smokes that are permit for my 2pm summer breaks by the pool. My most recent order these cigars arrived perfect soft and fresh cut well and burned even great taste. My only negative is them being box pressed oh well very minor.

Rocky Patels were fantastic ... great cigar for after dinner with a glass of your favorite spirits. The La Aroma's are the reason I couldn't give this 5 stars ... wrap was not very tight and half of them turned into canoes when you smoked them. Spent more time fiddling with them then enjoying what was actually a very tasty cigar.

The Decade is a great cigar, medium ++, easy draw, flavorful. The Mi Amore is being saved for special occasions because is is a special cigar.

The RP Decade’s where decent smokes, nothing special. The Mi Amor’s where much better and burned very well. For the money this sampler is a solid buy!

I have ordered a few of these...it seems half of them are good, they burn well and even, the other half seems to give me trouble every time...tough to keep the cigar lit, it cones out and for the most part disappointing.

La Aromas were good, RP Decades not so much. RPs burned really uneven and were a bit too heavy for me. Which is odd because I usually prefer a bold cigar.

The La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor were dry and had a poor burn, a little time in the humidor and they’ll come back to life. I’m a big Rocky Patel fan, so when I got the Decade’s, I was disappointed. Something is wrong with the wrap, they like to really open up once you fire them up..

I've bought this sampler on 3 different occasions. Obviously, i wouldn't keep paying for bad cigars, so that tells you my thoughts on both of these sticks. The RP Decade has always been one of my favorite smokes. I like the dark choclate and earthy flavor profile. The burn was very good, good smoke output, construction is always of the highest quality, and the flavors are consistant with each cigar. There is a dark roasted coffee, earth, touch of leather, a touch of bitter fruit of some type (possibly cherry or sour grape), and some noticible hazelnut flavors in the Decade. The finish doesn't last to long, maybe a minute. The retrohale has an earthy, black pepper to it. Full flavored and just under medium strength for me. The La Aroma de cuba Mi Amor always have been an exceptional smoke as well. It has the same high quality of product when it comes to the construction, flavors, burn, and smoke output. This stick has a few more flavor shifts along the way as you smoke it from my experiences. Overall, there is a dark roasted coffee, cedar, leather, heavy tobacco, and notes of spices in the flavor profile. Since the first I smoked this stick, I have always looked forward to the next time I can sit doen and enjoy another one.

The RP Decade is my Go To Cigar for all situations. I especially love lighting one when I switch channels from NFL football players taking a knee during the National Anthem to MLB baseball players stand during the National Anthem! Gives me immense personal satisfaction!

Both cigars are very good smokes I will no doubt be ordering them again. Too bad the RP is a Robusto, a longer smoke, maybe a toro, would allow the enjoyment to last a little longer. You will not go wrong ordering this combo.

Cubas were great full flavor cigar. They have spoiled me on buying 93 or better ratings when I get the chance.

My order was on back order. It was had to get updates on an ETA so after two try's I stopped. The cigars came, they were fresh. I let them sit in my humidor for a week. The longer they sat the better they got. I had my heart set on the four flame torch but they switched and gave me the two flame Loutus. I was satisfied with my order....except for the lighter. Dang.
