Limitada pushes it to the limit

Get ready, ‘cuz it’s time for lucky number 13! That’s right, the long, storied tradition of 5 Vegas Limitada lives on this year with the 13th numbered release in the annual series, and I’ve got a hunch this one’s got your name written all over it. For those not in the know: each year the folks behind 5 Vegas release a small-batch, one-time production of a blend, chosen for its immaculate quality and fine, aged tobaccos. This year, the spotlight is on a fuller-bodied Sungrown offering that we all found most enjoyable. 

Every year, the whole office likes to pick up a box of the newest Limitada and crack into them together, and let me tell you, this stunner is a jaw-dropper at first impression. Opening the box, you’ll find twenty perfectly rolled handmades, each glistening with oil. Up top, an Ecuador Sumatra sun grown wrapper leaf shines, complemented by Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers underneath. It’s earthy, spicy, with a cedar base and a tangy, sweet finish that stays enjoyable all the way down to the nub. In short: highly recommended. Just don’t come a-knockin’ when we go out of stock — supply is limited, and once this Limitada is over, that’s all she wrote.
