Good tasting value cigar
This is about my 6th or 7th time ordering these cigars. What I like about them is that they provide a great flavor profile while being on the mild side of medium bodied. They start very mild and slowly gets a little stronger till about half through then levels off while giving crème,coffee, and vanilla flavors. Stays fairly mellow through the finish. Yes, there may be a few wrapper blemishes or flakes but for this price and taste. A great cigar.

Get what you paid for!
Good flavor cigar but, construction was really poor. Tunneling, canoeing and most poor of all was a Connecticut wrapper that literally flaked off the binder!

Good Smoke
Let em sit a few weeks in the humidor and you will not regret the buy. I smoke about 1 1/2 cigars a day, and this is one of the middle of the road smokes for me. Had better, had worse, but overall I'd do it again.

Good smoke at a reasonable price...
My wrapper on my formally "budget priced" cigar was changed and so I'm looking for a new budget brand. Villiger makes some good cigars at reasonable prices, so I thought I'd give this one a try. It's a good cigar for the price. Generally you get what you pay for, but this one delivers a lot for the price, so you can't go wrong really, even if you think it doesn't measure up to your favorite premium priced brand, it definitely gives a good smoke.

Cheap Boxed Toro
Not a bad cigar. Not a great on either. But it's Dominican, through & through & I'm more of a Nicaraguan, Honduran or even Mexican vitola lover. For the price, I'm not complaining. Villiger Elite comes in a box, is well constructed, burns evenly, has a medium bodied peppery flavor profile & the wrapper is a handsome reddish brown habano leaf. Corojo & Criollo long fillers add to the the pepper-fest. Besides being Dominican & quite peppery, I sorta, kinda, like the blend & they certainly are affordable. I may not buy more, but I will consume the ones I have before they can mellow further with storage. As long as a lot of peppery nuances & really not a lot of other flavors, isn't a deal breaker, you might like these. As a yard-gar or to give away to the mooching buddy that you caught eyeballing your Diesel & Man-O-War collection, they are a decent, inexpensive option. Tell him its so powerful that you think it must be an AJ stick. It's just pepper, but what does he know? lol.

Lighter than advertised
Definitely did not feel like a med-full. Not bad for the price but little flavor. Had problems with the wrappers coming apart on a couple of them.

Not Bad for the Price
These aren't bad cigars. A little light in the hand, but well constructed, giving off loads of cool smoke & a medium bodied, lightly spiced profile, more generally found in much more costly vitolas. At the price, you really can't go wrong. Not sure who decided they are med/full since they barely make medium in my opinion, but nonetheless they are a very good bargain stogie. You could do a whole lot worse & pay more for the product, so if medium smokes that won't break the bank & are actually pretty good appeal to you, give these Villiger Elite toros a try. 86/100

Tasty and affordable
Villiger has a permanent spot in my humidors. Very well constructed, tasty, affordable, did I mention they're quite tasty? Smoked 2 bundles of the La Libertad, and now starting on my box of Elites. Can't miss value proposition. Thanks, CI.

Blue Collar Stick
Every working man cigar connoisseur who enjoys phat taste without paying a fat price should have a fist full of Villager Elites on hand. The rich consistent taste and thick draw of the Elite makes it my go to stick while manning the grill, kicking back in front of the fire and watching that big game in the mancave.
Customer Testimonials
In one word... awful. Don't waste your money.
I ordered a box of these cigars as part of my "exploring Villiger" plan and I am pleased with the purchase. I will say they do burn a bit fast (first third in less than ten minutes or so) but slowed down as it got towards the nub. Flavors are strong and as advertised and the good burn topped what I will say is a nice lower cost cigar. I would recommend as a good daily smoke and will buy again for the price as long as CI carries them. Not a nicotine powerhouse, but great with coffee in the morning or a cold drink in the afternoon.
Just got this delivered today. Wow, what an amazing cigar. The presentation looks like a way more expensive cigar. More importantly, the smoke. Such a smooth draw with a delicious flavor. I may pick up a few more boxes at this price!
Got my Toro's and gotta say I am quite pleased with the taste and the way it smokes. Although it draws real easy and burns a little fast, I would buy again next time they go on special....
Go ahead and waste your money on all the" Big Name" brands. That will ensure C.I. will have these in stock for me. These are a sleeping giant flavor bomb. Deep smoke, smooth perfect burn, and old fashioned Cubanesque flavored tobacco. I'll blindfold you and tell you it's a Master Blend 3 and you'll never know the difference. These will be on the inventory list in my humidor. And the price?...slam dunk case closed!
Nice cigar!
