The wrapper used to craft this dark and oily handmade is a lovely, triple-fermented Oscuro leaf grown from Havano seeds in Nicaragua. Beneath this leaf, a feisty mixture of long-leaf ligeros are combined, each hailing from one of Nicaragua’s top growing regions: Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa. The result is a bold bouquet layered by rich maduro flavors. A core of roasted espresso is met by toast and pepper with a natural sweetness on the finish. Robust yet refined, King Havano yields a medium to full-bodied smoke tamed by an intriguing series of slow-burning, thick-ring vitolas.
