Kinky Friedman Special Edition

Bigger, badder, Kinkier.

Enter 'Big Richard,' Kinky Friedman's most elusive creation to date. This medium to full-bodied blend is as satisfying as they come, thanks to a thick and meaty, triple-fermented Honduran maduro wrapper grown from Habano seeds. This oily leaf lovingly hugs a complex blend of Nicaraguan, Honduran and Panamian long-fillers with ample ligeros at play, producing a bold bouquet of rich flavors. Notes of coffee, earth, and spice are present, while a toasty, peppery-sweetness lingers long on the finish. 'Big Richard' is made in just one size, a generous Toro that burns slow and cool, allowing you to truly enjoy each complex nuance.

Customer Reviews of “Kinky Friedman Special Edition”
“Very good cigar. Medium at best but construction is top notch. Packaged in a nice looking box without cello wrappers. A little pricey at the MSRP but can be found on special for less than 1/2 that. Have smoked 3 so far and all have had even burns and a good tight ash and consistent taste. My only complaint is the rather large band has a lot more gum (seems more like glue) than is necessary making it hard to remove. If you can find them at the right price, I would recommend giving them a try.”

“The Kinky Friedman Special Edition Big Richard is a very good cigar. Nice dark oily wrapper. Good solid construction. A nice draw. The burn is excellent. This cigar is medium bodied and loaded with a nice array of flavors. Coffee, Chocolate, Pepper, Earthiness, and hints at various other spices. Lots of smoke from this cigar. Tingles the sinuses a bit. Finish is nice too. Don't let the goofy name fool you, this is a serious cigar.”

“My favorite of the 3 Kinky Frieman's I've tried, the others being the Texas Jewboy and KinkyCristo. This is a delicous, well-constructed cigar. The price on these is a bit steep, even for a good cigar. If you ever see them on sale, snatch them up though.”

“I smoke Kinkys in a regular basis...these are some of the best I've had. BUT they arrived dry, dry, dry. Had to save them before they crumbled.”
JF of BROWNSVILLE, TX
“Tried a box of these for the first time....so far I am very disappointed. The burn and draw are questionable...the ash is loose and they are hard to keep lit. I have burned 3 out of the box and will let the others rest in the humi for a while and hope they improve...the jury is still out. ”
