The epitome of 'boutique'.

The Graycliff name represents one of the industry’s most prestigious brands in handmade cigars. This veritable ultra-premium is carefully hand-crafted by a tiny team of 12 master-rollers, under the strict and watchful eye of Avelino Lara - the genius behind Cuba’s original Cohiba. Made in true boutique fashion, each Graycliff cigar is composed of exquisite, patiently aged tobaccos and offers the highest standard in quality, taste, and satisfaction.

Enter the Profesionale Series, also known as the Blue Label. This 92-rated beauty combines an extra-fermented Indonesian wrapper with a complex mixture of vintage, long-leaf tobaccos from Brazil, Nicaragua, and Honduras. This flavorful combination - created by Avelino Lara - results in a luxurious, medium-bodied experience. Expect layers of nuts, toast, and wood throughout, while a gentle spice finishes each puff.

Expensive, yes ... but it’s worth every penny.

In addition to the well deserved '92' rating, Graycliff Profesionale received 'Humidor Selection' honors. Here's what the review had to say:
"A good-looking cigar with an easy draw and a nice burn. It's warm and toasty, with nutty notes. A round, complex smoke."

Customer Reviews of “Graycliff Profesionale Series”
“I like Graycliff cigars, While this isnt my favorite Graycliff, its a good cigar nonetheless. I have to agree with some of the other posts. I was suprised as the cigar does mellow out in the last third and is a cool burning cigar, which allows one to smoke it down to the nub. I Didnt get a whole lot of pepper in mine.”

“A very good cigar. Better be for the price. Got 5 for $25 C.I. special and was well worth the money. Smooth, with a perfect burn and draw. Mild underlying toasty flavor. Worth a try for sure.”
RH of Coraopolis, PA
“I tried my first Graycliff (Red & Blue Label) about a week ago and Geeezoo I didn't know what I was missing by never trying this incredible Cigar before. The flavor and aroma are awesome, just like the draw and burn all the way past the wrapper.. I will surely keep some on hand in my humidor from now on. However the price tag per box is I think just a bit too heavy, but ultimately it's true that "Luxury has no price".”

“These are some of the best cigars (Graycliff) i have ever had! They are so good i actually went to the bahamas to see where they make them. If you ever get a chance go there and take the tour you wont regret of forget it. A+++ cigar.”

“When I lit this cigar (Graycliff), the first drag took me back to 1936 when I would smoke one of my Dad's Cuban Cuesta Rey. I burned this cigar down to my lip. There is no cigar made today that compares to this. With the possible exception of Cubans, because I haven't had a true Cuban since the 60's. The Professionale will spoil your taste for any cigar that you smoke next.”
JM of Houston, TX
“The Pirate Torpedo was a very well-balanced smoke (after the first inch). Wonderfully flavorful but not harsh in any way. Maybe I got a bad roll but for the first inch or so it was so tight it was almost impossible to draw and the burn was quite uneven. I was ready to discard it but luckily decided to give it a chance. I had to relight after that first inch and amazingly after relighting it was like a completely different smoke with an easy draw and even burn. Strange experience - I hope the rest of them are better.”

“This is one fantastic cigar. Avalino Lara is a true master of his art and it shines in the form of GrayCliff. A must for any cigar connoisseur. A small price to pay for total enjoyment.”
DS of Long Island, NY
“The 'Blue' cigar is really excellent. Graycliff Profesionale Series, the one I smoked I received at the Cigar Fest, I believe, and it's a much narrower ring than I usually prefer. This made no difference as it happened: it's a wonderful cigar. Faint pre-light aroma, long, firm ash and a perfectly even burn. Very good flavour, indeed, and I'll make a point to get a few of a larger ring.”

“This cigar is amazing to say the least, i have smoked a couple cubans and this is the only this that can compare, now to try the rest of graycliffs line!”
CG of Palmer, AK
“This is probably my all time favorite cigar. It rivals a Cuban in it's complexity and overall quality. The flavors are so complex and perfectly blended. I really have nothing but praise for this beautifully balanced firestick. If you are able to make a purchase without feeling the Greycliff price premium, you would be hard pressed to find anything any better. I also recommend the Grand Cru. I got a chance to do the tour of their little factory at the Greycliff manor and it only adds to my love of these beauties. Make a purchase and see what you think.”

“Lets started saying that have smoke several Profesionale Blues Pirates. Great cigar solid construction, great burn, smooth mild to med body yet flavor but not to complex, taste of nuts white pepper some coffee a enjoyable cigar. Few weeks back order some PG Robustos on sale. What a disappointment, draw was terrible, burn was a nightmare, looking from the foot end could see chunks of tabaco not nice layers, lucky CI back up his cigars replacing then. Could not believed coming from Graycliff. Well the replacement cigars arrived giving the nice experience and joyment of the Pirates smoke before. Bottom line great cigar yet pricy.”
ER of Middleburg, FL
“Ok, so after receiving 2 x PGs in a sampler, my interest was piqued. Although a long time cigar lover, I had never given Graycliff a chance, despite all of the hype. The PG itself is a deceiving cigar; despite it's wrapper being on the fair side, the first half of this cigar was a full-bodied, in your face experience, with strong nuances of cedar and white pepper. The inital, post toast puffs almost made me do a double take, as I was actually in the mood for a milder cigar this evening! Although very pronounced, and at times overwhelmingly peppery, the second half of the cigar transformed into a sublime, mellow, and complex masterpiece... a Jekyll and Hyde if you will. Might give the remaining a PG a shot before a full review, however would like to hear feedback to see if anyone else's experience was similar?”
