Oliveros Eight Zero

Email

Celebrating 80 years of Oliveros.

The Oliveros name was born in Cuba in 1927, and now spans 3 generations in the premium cigar business. Oliveros Eight Zero celebrates this rich history with an elegant, medium to full-bodied blend that's smooth and sophisticated. At play is an aged mixture of long-leaf tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras, the Dominican and Colombia, secured by a flavorful Costa Rican binder. And then, the wrapper. A dark and toothy Honduran Habano leaf that's oily and sports a lovely reddish-hue. The result is a complex, satisfying array of flavor with notes of toast, earth and spice, rounding out its chewy core.

Cigar Aficionado gave Oliveros Eight Zero an impressive '89' rating, commenting:

"A dark, oily cigar with an even draw and burn. It is creamy and woody with some light spice notes and a minty finish."

Customer Reviews of “Oliveros Eight Zero”
“this is a fantastic cigar,(Oliveros Eight Zero) medium in body, with a fuller finish , mild earth and leather flavors, and plenty of pleasent spice. the burn was fun to watch, slightly uneven, then even back and forth. this may have changed the strength from time to time. medium to full and back .ive smoked 3 of them , they have all done this. i like oliveros cigars quite a bit, "have you seen the new oliveros girl" holy #, this smoke a little pricey , but ci did it again with a 31,00 dollar 10 pack,”

“Until recently I thought Oliveros was strictly flavored cigars. The (Oliveros Eight Zero) is now on my favorites list, don't waste this smoke on the golf course. According to the Oliveros website the Eight Zero doesn't just come in a maduro, CI will you please offer the full Eight Zero selection. PS. I've always been a fan of Friday Night Fights and Rumble in the Jungle, keep'er going! Paul, Hanover, PA”

“This is an absolutely great cigar! I enjoyed the Churchill. The flavor is medium to full in flavor that is complex. It is has a great nutty flavor with some sweet tobacco to start then progresses to a chocolately-nutty flavor to that of strong coffee with more sweet tobacco plus a slight nutty flavor towards the end. Overall, it is very smooth. As for burn, it burned pretty even and relatively slow and steady even with a stiff head wind. The construction was excellent, too. It held up with the abuse of an outdoors event. I enjoyed it on a 60 degree Ohio February day as a recent 60 lbs. ruck march buddy. Also, it goes great with a porter or stout beer (my second round a few days back). It is pricy but keep your eyes open for deals. Bottom line, I have smoked the El Padrino, the Black Knight, and this one without disappointment. This one has earned a spot in my favorite list, amongst the CAO Brazilia, CAO America, Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet, 5 Vegas Relic, 5 Vegas Classic, and several other. In honesty this one is currently in my Top 20. Give it a try...”
