CroMagnon Aquitaine hits the scene with guns blazing. This no-nonsense blend features the same core as its big brother, utilizing a Cameroon binder atop Nicaraguan long-fillers from Esteli, Condega, and Pueblo Nuevo. The difference lies in the uber-spicy Ecuadorian Habano ligero wrapper leaf. This high priming new addition gives Aquitaine the full body and full flavor that has been making fanatics return to the trough for years. I am always so impressed with Roma's construction quality... Second to none! If only cubans could implement this kind of QC! I enjoy all of their line, and for the price, they're a great value. Don't hesitate if on the fence. A true boutique brand that remains very diligent on craftsmanship!

Superior construction. This cigar is very well made. The draw is perfectly balanced. Not too stiff and not too loose. Excellent flavor that changes as it burns, and it burns razor sharpe. This has become one of my top three favorites. I like to stay a box ahead with these.

I first knew Skip Martin he was just starting his blends and the cigars were for himself and some select few. But when I made my first purchase I was so impressed as it smoked better than anything I could get at the stores. He continued to take that journey as a boutique brand and today he stands tall. That Aquitaine still smokes as smooth and tasty as it did in the beginning. If you like a good Full Flavor smoke you cannot pass on this one.

Our tastes and impressions are individual. This is not a heavy smoke, but rather sophiscated and pleasing as it rolls over the tongue. The notes are subtle, but come through in a gentle manner but announce their presence. Smoke volume is more than sufficient and the burn is near perfect.

Tried a couple CroMagnon Aquitaine Cranium and liked them a lot. Slow burn, (two hours +)good construction. Bought A 5 pack CroMagnon Aquitaine Knuckle Dragger liked just as well, but I preferred the one hour + smoke time more often. These cigars in my opinion are well worth their cost. They will have a place in my humidor as long as they are available.
