Drew Estate does it again. This Dark but smooth maduro has a sweet taste and I am not a fan of sweets, typically. This is not your typical sweet. The earthy tones come out and has a smooth finish. Well done.

Just lit one up from my recent order and was nearly floored by the immediate smooth sweetness on the very first draw. Extraordinary. Haven’t smoked it down yet to see how it maintains, but it was a very pleasant surprise on the onset.

Right out of the package I smell cloves,perfumed soap . I don’t like flavored cigars! If I want sweet flavor I well smoke my pipe with some sweet tobacco intended to be smoked in a pipe. It is my fault,I thought this was one of drew E.cigars that aren’t sweetend I was in a hurry when I order it.So I can’t judge it on the flavor. All I can judge is the construction. The draw is good,and the burn is even. Just can’t get away from that perfumed soap an cloves. So if you like that kind of flavor.you will prolly like this cigar. I’ll try the next one with some sipping whiskey. I’ll write another review then. The wiskey may help to cover the soap. Or maybe not give a dam after a few drinks.LOL????????

Drew Estate Legends Black -- what can I say that I haven't already said in previous reviews. These are one fine infused (NOT flavored) cigar! They have become my go-to cigar after the "CI Blend Lab" ceased to exist -- my favorite cigar in the Blend Lab was an infused one by none other than Drew Estate. Legends Black comes darn close to that Blend Lab version, and I really enjoy this cigar! I've given a few out to friends, and they have gone on to purchase them as well. I may at some point try the original CI Drew Estate Legends and I'm sure they will be great too. But for now, half my humidor is stocked with DE Legends Black.

For the price paid, these are spectacular. The aroma, pre-light, is amazing. The infused oils add extra depth to the tobacco. The first few puffs are a little sweet, but that subsides into adding dark fruit and earthy tones like patchouli, clove and sandalwood. Very good blend, construction, draw, and burn.

The Drew Estate Black legends cigar is another great hidden gem that 'only the good cigar smokers' know. It's every bit as good as a Kuba Maduro, and in some ways it's a little bit better. Nice even ash, rich creamy, smooth as silk smoke, with a wonderful aroma. The only bummer with these is that they don't come in a box of any kind like their lighter cousin does in a miniature packing crate. There's got to be a unique cool little box for these, they're too good to just stick in a sleeve.

Loved the Black as much as the Copper. Both are outstanding puros. Ash held for up to 3 inches, Medium Body throughout with no nasty burnt after taste and I smoke my puros to 1 1/2 length. As for the Bourbon? I can't really comment on that because my palate didn't pick it up. Buying the Black again.
