Jose ’Don Pepin’ Garcia and Jaime Garcia combine together to create possibly their most satisfying blend yet. Hand-crafted in Nicaragua at Pepin Garcia's My Father factory, the La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut sports a gorgeous Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. Some of the finest Nicaraguan tobacco is used for the binder and filler but not before undergoing a triple fermentation process. This leaves the final masterpiece at mellow-medium bodied with flavorful notes of coffee, cedar, and almond. Fantastic medium bodied cigar!! Earthy and rich in flavor with slight cream and sweetness and cedar throughout. I would definitely buy again, only difference is I'd buy the Rothschild size(smaller ring guage).

Great burn and draw as I would expect from La Aroma. Sweet carmel note on the first lighting. About an inch in the cedar kicked in with some intesity reminiscent of a Romeo 1875 Reserva. Then it mellowed out evenly as it worked through nearing the halfway point. Smooth and complex. A tad bolder than many Connecticuts I have sampled. Stays smooth and tasty down to the nub! The original remains one of my favorites but this one has its place in my lineup.
