Weighing in at more of a medium-body, Gold’s exquisite wrapper is expertly applied atop of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan filler and binder. Overall, we’re looking at a silky cigar that’s deep and complex. This is my favorite mild cigar. A great smoke with a smooth burn and a great mild flavor. The price of the cigar is great for the quality.

The cigar is mild but has some flavor. For the price is a good every day cigar. I enjoy smoking one in the evening on my balcony. Perfect after a good meal.

This is a very good cigar I just wouldn't recommend the Churchill it's too narrow for the length and it's hard to keep lit. But other than that it was nice.

I rarely hesitate when a good deal on any CAO stick that crosses my in-box. Their gold blend is one of my favorites. The cigar presents as a mellow smoke but, spoiler alert, it is so much more. From the first puff through the nub the cigar evolves with creamy, nutty goodness through coffee, leather and a lingering sweetness. Highly recommend.

I'm a huge fan of the CAO line, but this is probably my least favorite of their offerings. The flavor was what I'd expect out of a Connecticut, but the perfecto performance was hit or miss as I experienced a few wrapper issues that left me holding it together to finish.

I assumed the V cut I used would restrict the draw; it did not. The draw was even. The burn was consistent and clean; the ash was tight. The smoke is bit like incense. I’m still trying to identify the flavors in this cigar; they are well blended. I now know why this cigar is highly rated. It is a full bodied mild cigar. I purchased it as part of a CAO sampler. I’ll be hosting a large group next weekend and we try all of them in this sampler. They are going to be impressed. Great brand of cigar.

The CAO's were excellent but did not burn well. You had to keep playing with them to keep an even burn. The favors,the appearance were excellent but parts of the cigar didn't smoke well.

CAI Gold Churchill. Very nice presentation. Box, internal wrapper with gold seal and a beautiful band. Nice looking cigar. Sadly that’s where it ends. Have smoked three and all three were soft and the draw was too free flowing. They burned badly, had to be relit multiple times. They do not hold an ash well. You will likely be brushing ash off of your trousers. OK maybe for a daily smoke. Not something I would offer a guest or a friend. I would have given it one or two start except for the nice presentation. Yes, I see the good reviews. Perhaps mine are part of a bad batch. Certainly not up to CAO's excellent standards. IMHO
